We have an exciting remote opportunity for a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our Digital Technology Supply Chain team.
What You Will Do:
- The selected individual will play a pivotal role in the design, configuration, testing and implementation of technical and functional solutions of supply chain business processes and application requirements.
- The individual will leverage a strong solution and application architecture background to troubleshoot complex supply chain issues and make recommendations for strategic changes to our landscape to improve the reliability and accuracy of existing solutions.
- The candidate will be responsible for providing solution and application architecture support to the supply chain team with a focus on business processes within various SAP suite of products.
- The candidate will own shared understanding across the project spectrum from high-level business objectives to detailed functionality and will work with developers towards building and validating solutions to meet expected outcomes.
- The individual selected for this role will work with internal teams as well as external partners including outsources and technology application vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to design and implement effective supply chain solutions in procurement.
- Provide technical and functional expertise in supply chain to ensure solutions meet business objectives, are reliable and scalable.
- Provide technical input to long term technical strategic plans and the tactics that are necessary to achieve those plans and objectives.
- Guide and influence strategic thought leadership for SAP supply chain solutions and related initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategies that drive innovation and continuous improvement within the supply chain domain as well as enhance the supply chain architecture across the enterprise.
- Work closely with external and internal business partners to improve existing systems, provide new solutions to support the business strategy, as well as envision and prepare for the future.
- Partner with various business units and ERP Core teams to develop vision, strategy, and technical solutions leveraging SAP core capabilities and best practices to create an affordable and sustainable solution.
- Support and engage with various cross functional teams to resolve supply chain issues and serve as supply chain SME.
- Provide application design guidance and consultation, based on a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information System, Information Technology, or related technical field and 10+ years of technical experience working within a complex SAP landscape including managing multiple SAP systems, ensure seamless integration, and troubleshooting complex issues efficiently; OR an Advanced degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related technical field and 7+ years of experience technical experience working within a complex SAP landscape including managing multiple SAP systems, ensure seamless integration, and troubleshooting complex issues efficiently.
- Extensive experience in supply chain management, demonstrating a deep understanding of the end-to-end supply chain processes and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP solutions and their application in supply chain processes.
- Experience in integrating with other SAP modules as well as non-SAP applications.
- Experience in implementing multiple SAP end-to-end life cycle projects and have experience with industry standard ERP system implementations.
- Familiarity with SAP system architecture, modules, and integration points to effectively design SNC solutions within the SAP landscape.
- U.S. Citizenship required due to government contractual requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience in SAP S/4 HANA.
- Prior experience as an ABAP developer or familiarity with debugging ABAP.
- Experience in SAP Business Network.
- Experience/knowledge working in an aerospace environment.
- Possess a robust combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders and project teams.
- Highly self-directed and able to learn quickly with a solid ability to drive and deliver results.
- Excellent judgment, interpersonal skills, cultural awareness and professional maturity with executive presentation experience, comfortable interacting with senior executive leadership.
- Results oriented with intense focus on success and achievement despite obstacles both within and outside of direct control.
- Self-driven and proactive on assignments with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing business environments as well as lead technical teams or lead projects.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
