The Advanced Product Center (APC) is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join our Business Operations Strategy and Continuous Improvement team at our advanced, high-volume RF Fabrication, CCA and Microelectronics factory. The ideal candidate will drive improvements across key operational areas and implement CORE methodologies across the factories. This role will be responsible for CORE Operating System & deploying methodology across the business with cross-functional coordination, KPI improvement initiatives, and reporting on business needs to support operational excellence with CORE.

What You Will Do:

  • Align strategic and factory initiatives with CORE across APC.
  • Focus on CORE Goal Alignment, Maturity Matrix, CORE Control Room and drive alignment of all top priorities within the factories.
  • Identify, analyze, and drive initiatives to reduce/improve key processes, collaborating with production, supply chain, and quality teams.
  • Lead special improvement projects across the factory, focusing on driving enhancements in key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput, cycle time, on-time delivery, and yield.
  • Deployment of CORE and Six Sigma methodologies & common language to improve operational performance and ensure adherence to continuous improvement culture.
  • Work closely with functional teams (engineering, quality, supply chain, and production) to identify bottlenecks, drive solutions, and implement best practices.
  • Engage with factory leadership and other departments to gather, analyze, and report on business needs, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate dashboards and reports for tracking progress against critical KPIs, ensuring visibility at all organizational levels.
  • Drive EAC savings, including factory risk reductions and opportunity capture along with Cost, Schedule & Quality Reductions.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing and operational processes, identifying areas for automation, cost reduction, and efficiency gains.
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts to resolve chronic issues in production, quality, and supply chain operations, ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in continuous improvement, operations and/or business strategy roles.
  • Project management experience.
  • Utilization of Lean Manufacturing, CORE, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Data analysis and reporting experience in tools such as Excel or Power BI,
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

This position requires a security clearance be obtained after start date. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing policies and procedures and/or experience with RF Components, RF Subassemblies, and RF Subsystems.
  • CORE Certification Expert Level

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
