WHAT YOU’LL DO

Braze is looking for a Business Operations Manager to strengthen cross-functional alignment and operational rigor in the office of the CBO focused on our Strategic Consulting Team. This role reports to the Senior Director of Business Practices, and Chief of Staff to the CBO. This role will drive critical strategic initiatives led by our Strategic Consulting team, proactively build processes, ensure accountability, and establish effective communication channels. This is an integral role in the Office of the CBO, taking strategic ideas and projects from conception to execution and impact.

  • Implement business processes and cadences that support the execution of Business Value, Industry Marketing, and our Innovation Lab initiatives. 
  • Help develop processes for the team, Identify operational gaps, and build a long-term cross-functional scaling strategy.
  • Provide operations support by optimizing processes, collaborating with teams, analyzing data, contributing to strategy, monitoring key performance indicators, and addressing specific needs to meet sales targets and ensure organizational success.
  • Formalize planning and communication cadence from the top down and socialize new processes to ensure broad adoption across the CBO and our GTM organizations. 
  • Provide end-to-end project management for delivering cross-functional initiatives, including stakeholder management, setting and monitoring project milestones, data collection, and final delivery with a special focus on our Industry Marketing initiatives. 
  • Maintain regular communication from cross-functional knowledge sharing, increasing visibility into CBO initiatives.
  • Hold stakeholders accountable to processes and procedures while keeping documentation updated.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the organization and focus on achieving results quickly and efficiently.

  • High productivity: Take meaningful responsibility and initiative for shaping and executing our strategy with limited oversight.
  • Structured in thinking and approach: Develop and leverage frameworks to help structure the team’s thinking, facilitate alignment across various stakeholders, and identify 80/20 opportunities to reach insightful, actionable answers without analysis overload.
  • An expert at prioritization: Experience (and enjoyment of!) balancing numerous priorities and demands.
  • Team-oriented: Energized by teamwork and skilled in cross-functional collaboration.
  • High-energy with a positive attitude: Motivated to work hard and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Operations, program management, or project management experience in SaaS is highly preferred.
