What You Will Do

The following position is to join RTX Enterprise Services Program Excellence in the Strategy and Transformation organization:

  • Drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of the project portfolio management process and tooling across BU Digital and ES(and other organizations given demand) to increase levels of transparency, consistency and higher level of project performance outcomes over time
  • Utilizing CORE, build a customer-oriented and consistent approach across stakeholder teams with common definitions and standardization of processes/tools, where appropriate
  • Drive tactical execution of BU adoption and ES maturity and coordinate training / change management needs with subject matter experts
  • Host Adoption Council for ES/DT PMO teams for increased partnership and collaboration
  • Collaborate within Enterprise Services program office and technical tooling teams for roadmap execution and continuous improvement
  • Negotiate scaling of demand with partner teams for optimal rollouts
  • Provide executive-level updates on strategy and execution of project portfolio management process / tooling rollouts
  • Develop metrics to measure implementation success and customer sentiment pre, during and post implementation
  • Be the front-facing role of requirements / needs from ES and BU Digital and other teams to vendors
  • Proficient in Planview and / or other project portfolio management tools
  • Ability to travel 10% throughout the year, as needed

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Minimum 12 years business-related experience and a Bachelor's degree (Finance, Technology, Engineering, Math) or
  • An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
  • Ability to summarize and translate data into executive level presentations for decision making
  • Minimum 5 years of direct supervisory experience
  • Minimum 7 years of leading and driving cross functional projects / programs with high complexity and / or scope
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

  • Ability to quickly build relationships and trust across RTX for partnership oriented approach
  • Excels in interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in a matrixed environment
  • Strong ability to collaborate and influence across multiple stakeholder & leadership teams
  • Ability to effectively drive results in a geographically dispersed team environment
  • Financial management experience
  • Hands on knowledge and experience with MS suite, Planview

Minimum Program Qualifications

To qualify for the RTX Re-Empower Program, candidates should:

  • Be on a career break of one or more year at time of application
  • Have prior experience in functional area of interest
  • Have interest in returning in either a full-time or part-time position

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
