Raytheon is seeking a Requirements and Capabilities (R&C) Integrated Solutions and Maritime Associate Director to coordinate business activities and create new opportunities to drive top line growth for the R&C Advanced Technology (AT) organization. The Associate Director will lead business creation efforts inside the AT, Advanced Integrated Surface Sensors business. In this role, the Associate Director will be responsible for delivering new business solutions to customers by leveraging Raytheon solutions and capabilities. Specific responsibilities include support of capture teams to include monitoring and reporting on capture status, management of New Business Investment (NBI) resources, conducting market assessments, lead generation and qualification, customer relationship development and management, and execution of capture strategies in support of business growth targets. The Associate Director will be accountable for relationships and interactions with US Government agencies to develop new business, share information, and to immediately resolve issues as required. As a member of the Requirements and Capabilities team, the Associate Director works closely with the other Strategic Business Units, Functional Business Areas, Programs and Product Area Directorates, and Requirements & Capabilities Executives. The Associate Director will ensure collaboration and alignment of all strategies to drive customer satisfaction and will report directly to the Director for Advanced Technology Integrated Surface Sensors R&C.

What You Will Do
- Develop and execute new business creation strategy to achieve Advanced Technology growth targets
- Coordinate and execute a prioritized plan of action and milestones that focuses on closing pursuits inside of the current Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and the Long-Range Plan (LRP)
- Collaborate internally and with our external partners to plan, develop and execute capture strategies for DoD Customer (Service Program Offices, Resource Sponsors, Warfare Centers, DARPA, SCO, ONR, AFRL, ARL) level pursuits
- Coordinate and manage program associated new business investment accounts, capture and proposal gate reviews, new business assessment and pipeline reviews, and customer engagements
- Provide professional and technical expertise to the R&C team, AT Strategic Business Unit and applicable customers
- Domestic travel up to 30%
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience in government, defense or aerospace or an Advanced Degree and a minimum of 10 years' experience
- 7+ years' experience in Government, Defense and/or industry with requirements generation, resource sponsors, and/or program management and an established network across the government to include DoD Service Program Offices and Science & Technology (S&T) Labs
- Experience presenting and communicating with customers and senior leadership
- Experience managing programs or leading teams encompassing surface warfare and associated NAVSEA sensors, effectors and combat systems
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
- Master's degree in business, engineering, or related field
- Certified Program Manager (or Defense Acquisition University Level III equivalent) and/or Certified Capture Manager
- Demonstrated experience in developing strong customer relationships and generating new business or investments
- Domain expertise in sensing and associated military operations across Services and the IC, familiarity with highly sensitive technology and an understanding of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
