Position Summary:

As Senior Manager, Revenue Service and Operations, this individual will manage oversee four critical Revenue Management functions accountable for revenue operations for all global markets, audit reviews and revenue coordinator service and ECCR teams for a total team size of 22 individuals. This includes developing new best practice and service strategies, inventory utilization strategies, streamlining reporting on revenue savings and ensuring the brand in compliance with audit procedures. The Manager will coach, mentor, and develop a team to identify opportunities, gather data, track progress and communicate results to Leadership. The ability to think strategically and drive results cross functionally through the organization is critical. The team must successfully partner with Sales, Marketing, Trade Support and Services, Reservations, Hotel Operations and IT.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coach, mentor, and develop a high performing team
  • Build business cases to support long-term financial impact of proper assessment of compensation provided for escalations
  • Ensure growth initiatives and policies are trained and implemented in a timely and correct manner, coordinating with all necessary stakeholders including, but not limited to, Sales, Trade Support and Services, Reservations, Hotel Operations, and Legal
  • Develop continuous improvement and refinement of all initiatives after implementation
  • Provide continuous reporting on status and profitability of initiatives to all stakeholders
  • Manage the team in identifying opportunities with Audit and functional teams on a day to day basis including, but not limited, to Special faring, Goodwill reporting, Onboard Credit and ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Function as a liaison to marketing in promotional planning and communication of pricing needs and strategies
  • Lead the teams in escalation management to effectively analyze and track efficiencies and provided strategic insights to revenue savings
  • Responsible for identifying opportunities to drive and improve revenues and present to Management
  • Responsible for developing strategies to achieve revenue targets in excess of $3B in annual net ticket revenue
  • Work with Management to identify and develop initiatives to increase ancillary revenues, including Non-Commissionable Cruise Fare, Cancellation fees, Transfers, Hotels, Air, Taxes & Fees and other areas

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (BA) from four-year college or university required with focus in quantitative discipline preferred
  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or Master's degree (MA) strongly preferred
  • Four to six years related experience in financial / business analysis or related field required
  • Familiarization with revenue management concepts and tools preferred
  • Previous experience with Sales and Marketing preferred
  • Previous experience in implementing system enhancements and decision-making tools preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in project management

Knowledge and Skills:
  • To perform this position successfully, the individual should be a self starter and be able to complete a project with little direction. Furthermore, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty in a timely and accurate manor. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and or ability required to satisfy this position:
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving and problem identification.
  • Ability to collect, analyze and interpret revenue performance data
  • Ability to make strategic and tactical decisions with large financial impacts with minimal supervision
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and the ability to direct others without immediate
  • Proficiency in Excel, Brio Intelligence/Hyperion Studio, Word, and PowerPoint required and ability to manipulate data essential
  • Knowledge of reservations system and revenue management data preferred but not required
  • Attention to detail required
  • Willingness to accept immediate product and project responsibility
  • Ability to operate in a team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated maturity
  • Ability to teach and coach

This position is responsible for planning Silversea's digital and traditional paid media. The role will support the Sr. Director of Global Media with all paid media execution across various mediums, including social, display, print, TV, etc. The role will work closely with Silversea's media agencies to execute against both branding and tactical initiatives with a constant eye on results and calibration to maximize performance. The person in this role will need to be well versed in digital marketing strategies and technologies and stay abreast of the competitive landscape. Effective communication and organization skills are essential to this role, as they will work closely with Media Agencies and internal creative teams. Must be able to derive, articulate, and act upon media insights, collaborate with internal and external partners and effectively communicate strategy and performance. Must do well and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. A love of travel and experience with Luxury Brands is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work with Sr. Director of Global Media to build media strategy that drives brand awareness, acquisition, and highly-segmented targeting across channels (paid search, social media, display media, linear & programmatic TV, print, publisher-direct, and other channels.)
  • Works closely with creative team on media campaign initiatives-support in creating briefs for both the external media agencies and internal creative teams.
  • Manage day-to-day agency relationships globally across our two agencies to ensure media plans are executed and optimized to drive results.
  • Go to person for day-to-day requests from the agencies and facilitate internally based on needs.
  • Support the Sr. Director of Global Media in reviewing and approving new media opportunities and optimization recommendations.
  • Lead new test vendor implementation with agency and evaluate agency POVs.
  • This role will aid in executing testing and optimization programs designed to drive continuous improvement around core KPIs.
  • Pressure tests weekly Agency optimization recommendations.
  • Responsible for attending weekly status and reporting calls with media agencies and ensuring the accuracy of reporting data.
  • Digs into agency reports ensuring alignment to internal goals and strategy.
  • Work with agencies to create high-level results decks and media recommendations to be shared and finalized with Sr. Director of Global marketing and eventually presented to executive leadership.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or Business Administration.
  • 7-10 years of media experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in media planning and buying in an agency or corporate setting required.
  • Hands-on digital media experience across all paid digital media, including programmatic/ display/video/CTV/OTT and paid social.
  • Experience with traditional media is a plus.
  • International experience preferred.
  • Experience working with or at luxury brands is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills :
  • Demonstrable track record of managing sizeable budgets and complex, data-driven media campaigns.
  • Experience working with data and analytics teams, with proficiency in GA360.
  • Thorough understanding of traditional and digital marketing best practices, including audience segmentation and creative alignment.
  • Effective communication of insights, performance, and critical messages through storytelling and visualization.
  • Intellectual curiosity and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail and an analytical mindset to find new opportunities.
  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment. Works well under pressure and can deliver quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration.
  • Must be highly organized and punctual
  • Familiarity with several of the following tools:
  • comScore, Nielsen, Google Analytics, GCM, Web Analytics, Tableau, (Tealium, GTM), Facebook Business Manager and Insights, MRI
