Position Summary:
The Sr. Account Executive for Trade Marketing Works to ensure Silversea remains the top luxury brand for travel agents through engagement campaigns, marketing assets, support of trade tools and ad-hoc trade show support. The position reports to Lead, Global Trade Marketing and supports global trade communications, marketing collateral, and other trade media tools that benefit engagement with the travel agent channel.

The position is responsible for the creation of trade briefs and follows projects from ideation to execution. Updates brochures and flyers as required by the business. The Sr. Account Executive also coordinates certain projects with other departments (i.e. Sales, Revenue Management, Hotel Operations, Shore Excursions, and Expeditions) to oversee the development of creative assets, and webinar creation and management. The Sr. Account Executive coordinates asset placement to SharePoint, and various trade tools like Marketing Central and Rallio. The position is responsible for ensuring consistency of message and imagery in all marketing projects for trade and capturing efficiencies and synergies in program execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Under the leadership of Lead, Global Trade Marketing supports all aspects of trade communication, inclusive but not limited to email marketing, trade website, trade campaigns and more.
- Supports the development of comprehensive, global marketing campaigns to drive maximum demand and sales with travel agent channel. Ensures the brand is represented appropriately through email, advertisements, printed collateral, and through all trade tools including but not limited to Marketing Central, Silversea Academy, social media (Rallio), and trade webinars.
- When managing projects, ensures consistency and alignment of copy and imagery in all marketing programs across the sales organization.
- Supports the development of global annual travel partner appreciation campaign with leadership to assist in establishing annual brand objectives, strategies, and overall leadership positioning for our Trade Sales team. Manages timeline and execution of projects associated with campaign.
- Works cross-functionally in the development and execution of marketing and promotional programs, including global videos.
- Supports the development of Go to Market programs that complement major brand and product launches: ship launches, new deployments, brand campaigns and brand/policy announcements.
- With the ever-changing environment, this role is responsible for supporting promotional campaigns to trade, channel updates to drive bookings; distribution of assets to sales team and applicable travel partners in a timely manner.
- Helps to analyze data related to Marketing Central, Silversea Academy, Rallio, etc...and when required is able to present findings to leadership.
- Coordinates the development, execution, and follow-up of programs, contests, incentives, flyers, bonus commission, under the leadership of Lead, Trade Marketing.
- Supports the lead with creation of dedicated incentives and/or trade contests to support engagement in the trade channel.
- Works with team on coordinating items, marketing materials and collateral for ship launches, inaugural sailings, other events such as trade shows, etc...Provides support in the development of Virtuoso Travel Week booth as required by management.
- Responsible for upload, maintenance, and creative direction on various websites including but not limited to Marketing Central, Travel Partner Resource Center, CruisingPower.com, etc...
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
- BA/BS degree from an accredited college required, Sales, Advertising, Marketing or Business focus.
- Three to Four years' experience in promotional/marketing programs and managing communications (email, newsletters, etc...).
- Proficiency in PC and Mac environments a must, including use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
- Experience in managing multiple tasks and projects at once.
- Strong customer service skills and creative thinking.
- Cruise industry experiences and/or creative agency experience a plus
- Knowledge of analytics and reporting capability a plus.
- Programs used: Wrike, Salesforce, Acoustic and Google Analytics on a daily basis.
- Must be resourceful with a "yes, we'll make it happen" attitude.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment & adaptable to constant change.
- Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable for the work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, grammar, and ability to accurately proofread marketing materials
- Ability to solve practical problems & deal with a variety of variables in situations.
- Ability to use business and marketing knowledge to make decisions and get results.
