The Royal Caribbean Group's has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Account Executive, Community on the Marketing team reporting to the Social Media department.

This position will be working onsite from Miami.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for crafting and executing the social media strategy to sustain and grow Celebrity Cruises' online community. As a vital member of the social media team, this role focuses on driving results through engaging follower growth and cultivating key partnerships. Key responsibilities include strategically leading community initiatives such as the influencer / creator program, community management and social listening, the crew community program, and partnered initiatives like giveaways. This person will collaborate cross-functionally with teams including social care, consumer insights, marketing, hotel operations, onboard revenue, revenue management, and the onboard fleet. They ensure the seamless integration of influencer, partner, and crew content with our Global Social Channels and align it with broader marketing efforts. This position requires a strong understanding of social media strategy, trends, and their impact on the brand.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead Celebrity Cruise's community growth strategic roadmap for social media community efforts across all digital and social ecosystems.
  • Oversee growing community team, ensuring quality of strategic execution and project delivery is always provided.
  • Continuously optimize efforts by setting benchmarks and analyzing data, ensuring growth targets are met.
  • Oversee community management execution and serve as escalation POC for social team to social care.
  • Strategically development and oversee implementation of social listening strategy.
  • Lead influencer strategy and oversee implementation of ongoing influencer initiatives.
    • Oversee coordination of individual and group influencer trip requests, certificate redemption, travel arrangement coordination, and coordination. In times of need, divide and conquer booking logistics with Account Executive, Community.
    • Oversee influencer trips and participate in rotating schedule of onboard trips and experiences.
    • Oversee and support influencer performance reporting and optimization by utilizing third-party social media / influencer management tools.
  • Build and maintain relationships with agencies / key vendors, externally and internally.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other members within the marketing, operations, events and revenue department.
  • Stays abreast of latest social media and platform trends, industry developments, and shifts in the travel industry. Ensure the adoption of relevant social media techniques into culture.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree required preferably in advertising, marketing or public relations
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in influencer strategy and social media strategy in fast-moving organizations
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of business use of social media platforms - content publishing and reporting (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Google, etc.)
  • Makes evident good technical understanding of social media and can pick up new tools quickly
  • Advanced skills in social media publishing and listening
  • Demonstrates past community management experience
  • Customer oriented skills (within business to business (B2B) & business to customer (B2C) segments)
  • Ability to lead projects and participate in cross-functional teams
  • Highly organized, flexible, multi-tasker
  • Excellent research, written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Team player with confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary
  • Possesses ability to identify negative or crisis and apply conflict resolution
  • Solid MS Office skills
  • Experience with content management systems a plus.
  • Some travel required.
