This position will be working onsite from Miami.

Position Summary:

The Senior AE, Community Management is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of the social media strategy as it pertains to the sustainment and growth of our social community for the Silversea brand.

As a key member of the Social Media team, this person will assist in driving results through compelling fan engagement and key partnerships with brand ambassadors across online communities. This includes, but is not limited to, community management, influencer partnerships, management of social networks and content, enhancing social programs to maximize the reach of the brand globally, curating UGC, launching social campaigns, monitoring social forums to keep positive sentiment and integrating social media into the overall business strategy.

This role supervises the social media community output and coordinates closely with the social care team, consumer insights, brand communications, influencers, and crew. The position ensures our social media and consumer-generated content is fully integrated with other marketing and operational efforts across the brand.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of the strategic roadmap for social media by driving integration where appropriate, including onboard our ships.
  • Work with the appropriate internal departments and external partners to drive decisions regarding Social Media Management tools, applications, channels, and tone.
  • Work with your supervisor to drive the brand's community growth strategy across all digital and social ecosystems.
  • Manage the Social Media Community output, ensuring leadership, quality of strategic execution and project delivery is always provided.
  • Coordinate the planning of social media campaigns, ensuring customer acquisition and supporting key marketing initiatives.
  • Calendarize, coordinate, deploy and report on all content deployment via Sprout Social aligned with our go-to-market calendar and campaigns.
  • Coordinate and ensure a superior quality of strategic execution and project delivery against the strategic roadmap.
  • Partner with social media content team to optimize content based on reported insights.
  • Continuously optimize efforts by setting benchmarks and analyzing data, ensuring growth targets are met.
  • Source and manage relationships with strategic partners, such as influencers and crew ambassadors, and social monitoring platforms to support and develop operational and commercial opportunities.
  • Act as the advocate of social media integration within the brand, influencing overall business strategies.
  • Monitor and comment on trends in social media trends and application, acting as subject matter expert within the company.
  • Become an advocate for the company in industry Social Media spaces, engaging in dialogues where appropriate.
  • Monitor the marketplace and be aware of innovations, changes and developments.
  • Identify competitive opportunities and threats in social channels and develop appropriate responses.
  • Monitor social forums and execute communications strategically, proactively, and reactively.
  • Partner with PR and Communications team to build engaging content that supports PR efforts.
  • Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting and status updates to supervisor and executives when applicable.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
  • 5+ years' experience writing in social media, marketing, and/or related field.
  • Demonstrated success with high-profile digital and social media marketing campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and monitoring tools (Particularly Sprout Social).
  • Global outlook
  • Positive approach to problem solving through analytical thinking and operational efficacy
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Strong critical decision-making and excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter with ability to maintain poise when dealing with ambiguity
  • Experience creating and managing detailed timelines

  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Accuracy, meticulous attention to detail and flexibility
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
