Position Summary

The role is expected to grow & nurture high value guests in MICE and Corporate charter area in the form of group and corporate FIT vacation from China market (territory assignment is subject to biz needs). To enlarge & grow direct client pool in numbers for new business and maintain existing clients relationship for repeats. To work with MICE agencies, travel agencies / trade sales team to acquire and service the clients with best of the class standard throughout the business circle.

The role will be closely work with internal stakeholders such as Revenue Management, Onboard Revenue, Finance, Legal, Charter operation, Shipboard team, F&B and Port operation for quotation, group activities execution purpose.

The role requires the candidate to be target oriented, actively finding and nail down new business opportunities while being highly organized, flexible and thorough in approach and innovative in finding solutions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Actively grow high value corporate client pool within existing industrial sectors
• Develop biz opportunities in new industrial sector for MICE purpose
• Maintain existing client relationship and secure repeat business
• Actively promote and advocate the entire product portfolio of the brand including homeport product and ROW product
• Promote and advocate various onboard revenue products throughout the sales process
• Organize and conduct ship visit, seminar @ sea program for MICE agencies & potential MICE clients
• Customize & develop sales proposal to corporate client matching revenue quotation with client expectation by articulating value of our product
• Present Royal Caribbean brand, product and business proposal to MICE client
• Negotiate and secure new business innovatively and settle the payment in a timely manner
• Proactively report the dynamic business status and market intelligence to line manager
• Keep close collaboration with revenue management, legal, operations and shipboard teams
• Facilitate and fulfill clients' expectation wrt onboard activities in accordance with relevant group policy and standard
• Performs other duties as required by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

Frequent travel may be required Strong new business development and negotiation skills are required for this position. Candidate must have sales experience and good sense of quality lifestyle. Familiarity of cruise industry, quick learner or charismatic personality will be a plus. The sales performance will be evaluated by annual ticket revenue and onboard revenue.
• Minimum 5 years sales background
• University degree
• Proficient in presentation & excel
• Fluent in English
• Presentable and pleasant looking

• New business development and negotiation skills are required for this position.
• Candidate must have sales experience and good sense of quality lifestyle.
• Strong presentation skill
• Familiarity of cruise industry
