About the role

We are looking for a 12 months fixed term Commercial Support Analyst to join the team in our UK office in Weybridge. It's a hybrid role with a combination of working from the office and working from home. Successful candidate would be a part of dynamic Royal Caribbean International Commercial Team. Please be aware that we can only consider candidates based in the UK with full right to work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The Commercial Support Analyst will play an important role in supporting the on-going EMEA
  • Commercial & financial strategy.
  • The Commercial Support Analyst will be responsible for supporting several activities and processes helping to drive the commercial and financial performance of the business.
  • They will work closely with key teams across the organization to ensure the strategy is being maximized amongst the relevant distribution channels.

distribution strategy:
  • Work with Commercial Manager & Commercial Analyst to model past, current and future commercial trends to help develop targets and goals to support business strategy
  • Working with the Commercial Manager & Commercial Analyst to determine short and long terms goals to develop the Trade distribution strategy to ensure we are optimizing our cost of sale.

COMMERCIALS:
  • Prepare all necessary supporting information and work to facilitate informed decisions making and information for effective roll out of terms
  • Ensure efficient execution and maintenance of all Commercial & Tactical schemes including target setting, ongoing reporting of partner performance and final results.
  • Support activity analysis on commission schemes to help ensure continuous improvement

REPORTING & INSIGHTS:
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support commercial decision-making.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and work with relevant teams to implement solutions
  • Model past, current and future channel mix including topline distribution channel
  • Provide agreed external reporting to support all commercial activities including performance vs target details for trade partners
  • Work with sales team to unearth channel trends and strive to improve understanding of ROI on all investment activities to support investment decisions and future distribution strategy
  • Collect, analyze and interpret data on our Trade Loyalty Program.
  • Co-op Marketing Analysis and tracking
  • Respond to ad hoc analysis needs as they arise to support business decisions

OTHER:
  • Create and maintain complex Excel models to support business processes.
  • Develop processes to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Compile business and trade partner performance updates as required
  • Monitor Market Data & Market Trends

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
  • Experience of working in a commercial & analytical role preferred.
  • Qualifications to Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Experience of Salesforce preferred.
  • Experience of Essbase and Brio/Hyperion strongly preferred
  • Experience of Power BI strongly preferred.
  • MS Excel, Word and MS PowerPoint to advanced level

INTERNAL/ EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS
  • Good relationship building skills particularly internally
  • Ability to present commercial & financial information to non-finance colleagues
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and able to prepare own analysis work
  • Ability to work in team and liaise cross-functionally and at all levels of seniority
  • Ability to work under pressure to deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good at identifying problems and finding the solutions and ability to put their point across in a clear and concise way.
  • Proven analytical and commercial skills and results driven, with ability to think outside the box
  • Team Player, highly motivated and positive can do attitude
