Replenishment Analyst

Rooms To Go is currently looking for a Replenishment Analyst to join our fast-paced Case Goods Department to interact between merchants and retail stores to streamline processes and ensure accurate inventory. The Replenishment Analyst facilitates and coordinates actions between the merchandising department and stores, outlets, and Distribution Centers. The Analyst will work with merchants to execute strategic and tactical planning and work with stores and merchandising teams on the review and calculations of the metrics used to value the planning.

Responsibilities

  • Re buying in accordance with the company's target market
  • Will be responsible for specified SKU range/product category (TBD)
  • Replenishment - IFR/FLOW/Order Management
  • Maintain compliance and standards of the business practices, policies, with both vendors and other associates.
  • Work with supply chain and improvement process team members to develop and implement best practices regarding slot count management and maintenance.
  • Package performance data reporting.
  • Product Exit Strategy planning.
  • Partner with merchants identify floor space and facilitate exit plan for pre drop products including but not limited to balancing inventory reviews, movement between DC's for optimizing sales.
  • Manage the movement of discontinued and EFR products between DC's and Outlets. Flow review / generation of transfers/management of aged inventory both active and inactive.
  • Actively engaged with competitive data collection and presentation to the merchandising team.
  • Promotional event data collection / analysis and reporting.
  • Vendor Quality Improvement facilitation
  • Work with quality team to collect /research and improve product quality metrics which will reduce expenses and improve profitability.
  • Vendor chargeback and data analysis.
  • Damage product movement and analysis.
  • Parts process management- Review and finalize set up sheets in preparation for final parts entry.

Qualifications
  • To be considered, it's preferred that applicants have 2 years of retail experience. It is desirable to have experience specifically in merchandising and inventory
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred or similar years of experience
  • Furniture Buying/Merchandising experience a plus, but not mandatory
  • Strong problem-solving skills, proven ability to identify and resolve problems
  • Possess strong written and verbal cross-functional communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, Microsoft Office
  • Able to interpret and work with different software/technology platforms
