Rockstar Games is seeking a Project Coordinator with strong cross-department communication and organization to support our Trust & Safety initiatives. This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.

  • The Rockstar Games Project Management group supports various stakeholder groups across the company to develop and communicate research; align project resources and timelines; facilitate cross-functional development and cultivate macro and micro understandings of our teams.   
  • The Project Management group supports all Rockstar Games titles, including Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, in an effort to deliver world-class live service experiences.     
  • This role will support the Trust & Safety team at Rockstar Games, which enables a safe and inclusive player experience for users across our games and services, working to reduce the exposure to harm and toxicity in our online games. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Trust & Safety team and their partners across multiple studios to package and ship off project deliverables. 
  • Provide status updates on projects and track project work against team milestones with robust understanding of product requirements, stakeholder expectations and situational tradeoffs. 
  • Maintain project schedules and milestone documentation, monitoring the progress of milestones and specific tasks against those schedules. 
  • Use various project tools and development resources to build efficient team productivity reporting and project progress to ensure the growth and improvement of the team.  
  • Keep stakeholder communication strong with project updates, task prioritization, and quick responses and follow-ups on requests that need immediate attention.  
  • Act as a scrum master for teams by coaching them on agile and lean frameworks to produce quality product deliveries and continuous improvement. 
  • Managing communications between cross functional teams including Product, Engineering, Analytics, Security, Publishing Leadership, and others.  

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience defining and managing multi-team, multi-location projects related to Trust & Safety, technical development, or games. 
  • Proficiency in multiple software tools to manage projects and facilitate related communication, including and not limited to Excel, Task Tracking Programs (i.e., Monday.com), Word, Figma, and PowerPoint. 

SKILLS

  • Strong team player, who is comfortable with collaboration, highly organized, and a flexible thinker. 
  • Motivated self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Exceptional, clear, and effective communication skills (verbal and written). 
  • Knowledge of sprint methodologies and best practices.  

PLUSES

  • Passion for the video game industry and keeping online communities safe. 
  • Experience in data analytics and applications. 
  • Experience with SCRUM or other sprint-based project management methodologies. 
  • Experience in supporting safety and compliance strategies cross functionally.

The pay range for this position in New York State (inclusive of New York City) at the start of employment is expected to be between the range below* per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
