The role is part of the Corporate Accounting team, mainly responsible for the global consolidation process. We are seeking a highly motivated experienced accounting professional to drive the close and consolidation process, with a focus of continuous improvement and integrating different ERP closes into global consolidation.
As the Accounting Manager, you will play a key leadership role in Corporate Accounting, focusing on close-the-books process improvement, implementing system optimization projects, standardizing processes globally, and guiding the accounting team. Responsibilities include managing the month-end close process, conducting balance sheet flux analytical reviews, researching technical and operational accounting issues and managing FX. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and SOX 404 requirements.
It is preferred that this role is located in one of the office locations listed on this job description which will align with our in-office working environment. This position is only eligible for remote work in limited geographies within the US where we do not have physical office locations. What you’ll do
- Lead month-end close and consolidation process of global accounting function, including reviewing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations,and overseeing intercompany transactions, eliminations, FX remeasurement and translations
- Prepare and review month-end flux analysis package for leadership
- Seek opportunities to streamline processes and shorten the close
- Work closely with cross functional partners on expense sharing agreements and cost allocations
- Lead special projects as requested
- Review credit card business journal entries and support the business growth
What you bring
- 4 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or business related, with a focus on general accounting, consolidation, intercompany transactions, FX and reporting
- Strong accounting and analytical skills, with the ability to apply US GAAP to various business process
- Ability to coach the team and provide guidance on daily work
- Experience with Oracle ERP, Oracle FCCS is required; experience with smartview is a plus
- Proactive, self-starter who is accountable and exhibits ownership of delegated tasks and projects.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
