The Compliance Licensing Analyst will be a part of the compliance team supporting Robinhood’s credit card products and money transmitter for Robinhood Credit, Inc., and Robinhood Money, LLC. You will be responsible for ensuring these entities embed regulatory compliance for its licensed products, preparing quarterly and annual reports, and leading the license renewal process. You will lead efforts to obtain and renew licenses, and provide guidance for product changes, and support regulatory inquiries.

What you’ll do

  • Facilitate licensing applications, license renewals, and monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reporting obligations
  • Monitor expiration of licenses, certification due dates, and other regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate officer changes and other notices and communications with state regulators
  • Prepare and review money transmission license reports and renewals to state regulators
  • Support the framework for licensed entity, including the development of relevant policies, procedures, and/or guidelines and communicating these policies to all relevant partners
  • Support both onsite and offsite regulatory examinations of licensed entities, including compiling requested documentation from internal stakeholders, reviewing documents prior to delivery to regulators

What you bring

  • Experience with the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) in a highly regulated industry
  • 2+ years experience in regulatory reporting, financial reporting, compliance or related field
  • Ability to learn quickly, think critically, and apply problem-solving skills to resolve issues and implement process improvements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to a changing environment
  • Resourceful and adaptive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments; strong bias to action
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks proactively and understand cross-organizational impact
  • Strong interpersonal experience with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Self-starter with proven time management skills

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
