The Partner Integrations Team at Quantcast plays a critical role in delivering seamless ad tech solutions by connecting our systems with key third-party partners. These integrations enable essential functions like audience selection, targeting, measurement, and reporting, helping our customers achieve their advertising goals effectively.

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the growth and maintenance of these technical integrations. You’ll work on solving challenging problems in high-volume, low-latency systems and play an active role in improving our platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to design, build, maintain, and scale integrations of our high performance distributed computing systems with third-party partners.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in high-performance systems operating at scale.
  • Work on codebases with a strong focus on quality, readability, and maintainability.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and improvements for our integration tools and systems.
  • Participate in team discussions to solve complex problems and brainstorm creative solutions.
  • Participate in on call rotation of the team

Requirements:

  • BS Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of industry experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in Java and a strong understanding of the Java ecosystem is a must.
  • Good knowledge of the Python ecosystem.
  • Strong software development skills (version control, code review, testing, release, monitoring, debugging).
  • A passion for solving technical challenges in high-scale, low-latency systems.
  • Interest in learning about ad tech, integrations, and system performance optimization.
  • Team-oriented mindset and a willingness to take ownership of tasks and learn from experienced engineers.
  • Some exposure to large-scale distributed systems or optimizing the performance of large-scale distributed systems or APIs is a plus, but not required.
