You'll gain a tremendous depth of expertise in all aspects of human capital, including creating sustainable value through people culture and change, designing compensation and retirement strategies, and improving human capital operations. Our team helps our clients assess and improve the effectiveness of their Human Resources functions in enabling the business to maximise return on their human capital. You'll focus on assessment and enhancement of an organisations Human Resources functional capability through policy change, process optimisation, and performance monitoring.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or has proven record of success with:

  • Understanding HR processes (talent acquisition, development/training, performance management, Total rewards, Finance and Accounting, etc.) and its impact/connection points to payroll;
  • Understanding HR technology experience/design/implementation/optimization (Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP, UKG, Ceridian, etc.);
  • Understanding of leading market Payroll technology design/implementation/optimization (ADP, Ceridian, SAP, UKG, Workday, etc.);
  • Understanding next generation payroll skills (process automation, people analytics, other digital skills);
  • Comfortability with large data sets and conducting analysis in both excel and other automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, PowerBI, SQL, etc.);
  • Proficiency in payroll process and control leading practices and understanding how to identify automation opportunities;
  • Implementing various payroll technology including initial RFP and vendor selection, testing and post go-live activities;
  • Identifying additional opportunities to assist clients in reinventing themselves to state of the art payroll processing;
  • Understanding pay compliance requirements from both a federal and state lens;
  • Understanding payroll tax requirements and implications for employers;
  • Ability to lead and engage proactively with clients to identify challenges, recommend solutions and manage expectations utilizing active listening skills to gain understanding of key customer and market issues;
  • Preparing final drafts of client deliverables assuring quality control;
  • Possessing stakeholder management and communications to obtain awareness, understanding, buy-in and support;
  • Having a sense of urgency in solving client requests to deliver timely resolution and an ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines;
  • Leading, coaching, and motivating team members, promoting a collaborative work environment by providing strategic and balanced oversight, proactively sharing insights, knowledge and experience; and,
  • Managing up and pull in subject matter specialist resources when required for conversations or deliverable creation purposes.

The salary range for this position is: $100,000 - $232,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
