The Opportunity
As part of the Tax Acceleration Centre team you are expected to provide specialized technical knowledge and support for tax compliance-related processes. As a Specialist you are expected to handle specific tasks, conduct in-depth analyzes, and support specific projects with your specialized knowledge. What You Must Have
- Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Finance, Economics, International Business, Management, Quantitative Finance, Computer and Information Science
What Sets You Apart
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer and Information Science preferred
- Knowledge of tax compliance processes within a tax services delivery center
- Experience with internal technology tools for managing tax return processes
- Proficiency in preparing and filing tax extensions
- Ability to organize and verify client data
- Skills in preparing e-filing tax returns and clearing diagnostics
- Understanding of process workflows from initiation to completion
- Experience working independently and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment

The salary range for this position is: $42,000 - $76,500, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
