In SAP data and analytics at PwC, you will specialise in providing consulting services for data and analytics solutions using SAP technologies. You will analyse client requirements, design and implement data management and analytics solutions, and provide training and support for effective utilisation of SAP data and analytics tools. Working in this area, you will work closely with clients to understand their data needs, develop data models, perform data analysis, and create visualisations and reports to support data-driven decision-making, helping them optimise their data management processes, enhance data quality, and derive valuable insights from their data to achieve their strategic objectives.

Demonstrates intimate-level abilities and/or a proven record of success managing efforts with the design, configuration, testing and implementing SAP Master Data Governance solutions including the following:

  • Leading SAP teams at a functional level including the creation of architecture standards, reference architectures and data models; and,
  • Possessing knowledge in SAP capabilities in most of the following SAP Master Data domain areas: Materials, Customers, Vendors, Assets, Equipment, Bill of Materials, GL Accounts, Cost Centers, etc;

Demonstrates intimate-level abilities with Blueprint/design and realization phases for at least 2 SAP MDG implementations including the following;

  • Holding knowledge and experience with MDG configuration;
  • Utilizing understanding of Data/ Process modeling, UI Design, Derivations, Duplicate Data checks, Rule-based Workflow (BRF Plus), FPM and Webdynpro ABAP, BRF PLUS, SAP Business Workflow, Rule based Workflow, BAdi and ABAP Object Oriented Programming, and Integration technologies like ALE, IDOCS and Web Services;
  • Understanding of replication framework with SOA, ALE/IDOC, Key & value mapping, DIF, MDG Export & import master data and conversion of master data, MDG Process modeling, Change Request setup and Change Request step definition based on requirement;
  • Having advanced experience in performing Data Quality setup, KPI reporting, Duplicate Check, and other required validation, identification of mapping requirements in case of data distribution and interface development to downstream systems;


  • Applying understanding of Integration of MDG with ARIBA, SalesForce etc. will be added advantage;
  • Exhibiting intimate experience with Co-deployed and Hub environment of SAP MDG and, SAP MDG Consolidation module;


  • Leading the design and implementation of SAP MDG solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices;


  • Overseeing the blueprint/design and realization phases for multiple SAP MDG implementations, demonstrating intimate-level abilities;


  • Utilizing your expertise in MDG configuration, data/process modeling, UI design, derivations, duplicate data checks, rule-based workflows (BRF Plus), FPM, and Webdynpro ABAP;


  • Proving technical acumen on various state-of-the-art SAP Analytics technologies with a focus on S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, Datasphere, HANA Cloud, BW/4HANA, SAP Fiori, HANA XS applications, Google/Azure/AWS Cloud technologies, and visualization tools including SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, Power BI, Web-Intelligence, Analysis for OLAP/Office, etc.


  • Applying advanced knowledge of SAP Business Workflow, BAdi, ABAP Object-Oriented Programming, and integration technologies such as ALE, IDOCS, and Web Services;


  • Demonstrating understanding of the replication framework with SOA, ALE/IDOC, key & value mapping, DIF, MDG export & import master data, and conversion of master data;


  • Leading the setup of data quality processes, KPI reporting, duplicate checks, and other required validations;


  • Identifying mapping requirements for data distribution and interface development to downstream systems;


  • Troubleshooting, investigating, analyzing, solving software problems, mapping client business requirements, processes, and objectives, and developing necessary product modifications to satisfy customer's needs as the point of contact with customers;


  • Presenting proven experience in leading SAP MDG teams and projects;


  • Demonstrating leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams; and,


  • Applying advanced problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.

The salary range for this position is: $130,000 - $256,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
