Additional Responsibilities
As an Operational Technology (OT) Network Security Technology Consultant, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Architecting unique networking solutions to address client guardrails and operational requirements;
- Leading complex projects by bringing together the right perspectives, identifying roadblocks, and integrating feedback from clients and team members;
- Guiding delivery from project scoping to conclusion, while consistently keeping the client's goals in mind;
- Having a passion for developing and growing team members;
- Communicating at an executive level;
- Serving as both a mentor and advocate for your team and PwC Community;
- Approaching new projects with an open mind, learn from your mistakes and ask for help when needed; and,
- Leading development of thought leadership and sales materials to grow the PwC Community, build new client relationships and business opportunities;

Preferred Knowledge/Skills
Role will demonstrate familiarity with security technologies and extensive level of abilities, knowledge and/or a proven record of successfully teaming with others to achieve defined outcomes, including:
- Thorough knowledge of and experience designing, implementing, and managing Palo Alto Firewall solutions for on-premises environments;
- Extensive experience with managing large, distributed Operational Technology (OT) networks, including familiarity with Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and knowledge of Serial Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
- Clear knowledge and experience managing other networking technologies such as Cisco, FortiGate, Juniper, Checkpoint, or Silverpeak;
- Robust and proven ability implementing routine updates and patches to maintain system security and performance;
- Proven ability diagnosing and resolving network issues related to connectivity, performance, and security;
- Ability to manage and troubleshoot the Palo Alto GlobalProtect environment to enable secure remote access for end users;
Candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Knowledge or experience using IEC/ISA 62443 and NIST 800-82 standards;
- Knowledge or experience with long-range microwave networks;
- Knowledge or experience with SD-WAN routing and configuration.

The salary range for this position is: $100,000 - $232,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
