As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

One or more of the following credentials or certifications is required: CPA License, Level 3 of the CFA, JD, PhD, MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Tax, Quantitative Statistics, Financial Engineering, Economics, Real Estate Finance or Hospitality A State Certified Appraiser License, Member of Appraisal Institute (MAI), Member of American Society of Appraisers (ASA) or achieve certification of CRE, CRI and/or CCIM, CHA, or PMP

Additional Educational Preferences:

A Juris Doctorate, PhD, MBA or a Master's Degree in Finance, Quantitative Statistics, Financial Engineering, Economics, Business Administration/Management, Economics, International Business, Management, Quantitative Finance may also be considered.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or success in managerial roles involving, financial issues, capital markets and the product life cycle, enhanced by working on various client engagements and assignments related to issuing, investing in, or trading financial instruments.Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or success in managerial roles involving, understanding of financial products and issues that both issuers and investors face as markets evolve over time, emphasizing supporting engagements that involve, but are not limited to, the following areas:
- Applying accounting, tax and regulatory standards to complex financial instruments;
- Assisting clients with their understanding of complex financial structures prior to the issuance of securitizations and assisting related parties (underwrites,attorneys, etc.) with verifying that disclosures align with the underwriter's intent of the security structure;
- Performing valuation analysis of financial instruments and structured products;
- Assessing reasonableness of valuations and financial models prepared by others;
- Creating independent financial models to project collateral and bond cash-flows for various debt types and related securitizations including asset backed securities, mortgage backed securities, and collateralized loan obligations; and,
- Understanding and applying financial instruments such as derivatives and fixed income products as well as the valuation techniques that are utilized for financial products.Demonstrates extensive abilities and /or a proven record of success with utilizing effective problem-solving skills, prioritizing and managing multiple tasks, emphasizing the following areas:
- Researching and analyzing pertinent client, industry, and financial matters; while demonstrating strong technical and analytical skills;
- Being agile and flexible when adapting to changing client needs and market conditions;
- Developing, utilizing or reviewing/validating complex financial models;
- Utilizing industry software, e.g. INTEX, TREPP, Bloomberg, CapIQ, or, advanced Excel modeling; and,
- Applying accounting treatments of financial products and securitizations held by financial institutions.Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader and LIBOR reform including:
- Have experience quantifying LIBOR financial exposures;
- Understand key differences between LIBOR and alternative reference rates on multiple types of cash and derivative products;
- Be actively following the LIBOR industry conversation and be able to crisply articulate the need to transition from; and,
- LIBOR to an alternative rate, the key characteristics of the alternative rates, the status of key market related decisions and the potential impact on client operations including financial models, transaction systems, contract terms and conditions, and accounting and tax policies.Demonstrates extensive-level abilities success with managing efforts with identifying and addressing client needs:
- Building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement;
- Communicating value propositions;
- Managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, collection; and,
- Preparing or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.Demonstrates extensive abilities of automation & digitization in a professional services environment.

The salary range for this position is: $82,500 - $291,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
