You will be responsible for providing guidance on financial systems implementation, process automation, and financial shared services.

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing client needs by:

  • Demonstrating knowledge of P&C insurance products, underwriting practices, and risk management concepts;
  • Analyzing and interpreting financial data specific to P&C insurance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), combined ratios, and loss ratios, to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making;
  • Demonstrating experience with variance analysis and identifying trends or patterns in financial data for P&C insurance operations;
  • Possessing familiarity with P&C insurance regulatory requirements and compliance, including industry-specific frameworks such as Solvency II
  • Understanding of P&C insurance company financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement, with a focus on underwriting profitability, claims analysis, and reserve adequacy; and,
  • Exhibiting proficiency in financial reporting and management reporting for P&C insurance companies, including metrics such as loss development and reinsurance recoverables

The salary range for this position is: $84,000 - $202,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
