The Opportunity

As a Senior Manager in Environmental Sustainability, you will lead initiatives that drive environmental impact, reporting and sustainable operations across our firm. This role is a strategic contributor to our Inclusion and Sustainability function - supporting the integration of environmental priorities within the firm's business practices.
You'll collaborate across teams to measure, report, and accelerate progress toward our environmental sustainability commitments. You'll manage the firm's environmental sustainability reporting program in alignment with leading frameworks, regulatory developments, and stakeholder's expectations. Responsibilities
- Support the firm's environmental sustainability strategy, governance, and roadmap
- Manage adherence of environmental sustainability public disclosures to industry-leading sustainability reporting standards (e.g., GRI, TCFD, GHGP, ISSB)
- Assess and enhance data governance and controls to support environmental sustainability reporting and assurance readiness
- Apply analytical thinking and data analysis to assess performance against environmental targets and benchmark competitors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive employee engagement, waste diversion, and energy efficiency programs
- Navigate evolving climate policy and regulatory requirements, including California Climate Disclosure Rules
- Influence decision-making through storytelling, strategic questioning, and insight-driven reporting
- Leverage change management practices to help enable sustainable transformation
- Utilize specialized subject matter knowledge and serve as a strategic advisor for internal stakeholders including support of third-party surveys and ratings (e.g., CDP, Ecovadis), pursuit opportunities and ongoing client reporting.
What You Must Have
- Minimum year(s) of experience: 6 years
- At least a High School Diploma
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for a Bachelor's degree in Business, Environmental Health/Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainable Resource Management
- Experience with and knowledge of industry-leading environmental reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, TCFD, GHGP, ISSB) and regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., California Climate Disclosure Rules)
- Demonstrated ability to integrate environmental sustainability considerations into business operations
- Experience with carbon accounting, energy efficiency, waste diversion and environmental management systems
- Ability to lead people using inclusion, empathy, self-awareness, and coaching and feedback
- Proven capability to apply critical thinking, professional skepticism, and intellectual curiosity in complex environments

The salary range for this position is: $89,000 - $315,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
