Job Summary
Functional Business Analyst to join the Business Support Center - Operations Support Team. This is an exciting opportunity to apply strong functional skills to solve pressing business needs in a collaborative, dynamic environment.
The Functional Business Analyst interacts with management, end users, programmers, and system testers to trouble-shoot issues.
Responsibilities
User Acceptance Testing (Quality Assurance Testing):
- Authors test plans and deployment plans for system rollouts
- Supports software system roll outs and performs monthly production shakeouts testing

Operation Support:
- Skilled in system integration most commonly Empower, Laserfiche Repositories, OneView, iPATH (BPM) and high-level understanding of home-grown application integration a plus
- Must be able to work in a high impact area, maintaining professionalism, organized and able to juggle many office tasks.
- Knowledge in Mortgage Banking: Loan Origination, Loan Processing, Underwriting and Closing a plus
- Ability to train operational users on new system enhancements through written and oral forms
- Excellent Customer Service Experience, along with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Background and Experience
- Prefer 2+ years of IT experience, with focus on principles and techniques of business analysis, software requirements, and user acceptance testing
- Demonstrated experience with waterfall and agile life cycle methodologies
- 1-2 years of mortgage experience
- Experience with complex integrated environments, such-as service-oriented architectures
- Strong written communication skills: ability to create comprehensive test plans
- Strong oral communication skills: ability to communicate with both end business users and developers. Ability to bridge the gap between the technical and business needs
- Ability to multi-task; high-productivity track record
- Self-starter who also enjoys working in teams
- Technical background, including design, and system integration test a plus
- SQL experience a plus
- Experience with browser-based GUIs a plus

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
Position is located in Englewood, CO south of Denver.
Salary Range: $67,500 to $75,500 annually dependent upon experience.
This position is also eligible for annual bonus based on the successful completion of defined performance objectives.
In addition to up to 9 paid company holidays per year, employees are eligible for up to 6 days of sick pay. Moreover, eligible employees with less than 10 years of service can accrue up to 17 PTO days per year (and up to 22 PTO days per year upon 10 or more years of service). Employees are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Plan. Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage. Employees are covered by company-paid disability, basic life insurance and parental leave. Voluntary insurance coverage options, including critical illness, accident, and hospital indemnity, are also available.
