The Role:
As a Staff Business Process Analyst, you will be responsible for proposing solutions to mature and reduce risk in Yubico’s business operations and to support strategic projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, sales, production, fulfillment, security, and IT, to implement process improvements. The role will also work with Project Managers to help organize and drive outcomes. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical background who can translate data into actionable strategies to enhance business performance.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Business Process Analysis and Improvement: Evaluate existing business processes to identify and quantify inefficiencies and risks. Recommend and guide changes to streamline operations and enhance productivity
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to provide meaningful insights into business performance. Collaborate with data analysis to develop dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Change Management: Provide support to operational teams to identify and address risks related to changes
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with different departments to understand their operational needs and develop solutions that address business challenges. Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure smooth communication and execution of initiatives
- Project Support: Contribute to projects that aim to enhance efficiency and lower operational risk. Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet business objectives
- Process Documentation: Create detailed documentation of business processes, workflows, and system configurations. Maintain and update documentation as needed to reflect changes in business operations or systems
- Mentor and Train: Mentor more junior business analysts and conduct workshops and training related to process development and maturation for key stakeholders across the business
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation within business operations. Stay up to date on industry trends, tools, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in operations
Basic Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience leading business process reengineering and transformation efforts that deliver improvements in efficiency, resilience, and customer experience
- Experience quantifying outcomes based on metrics and key performance indicators (KPI)
- Experience developing business cases to justify investment in maturing, reengineering, and transforming business processes
- Able to work through ambiguous desired outcomes to collaborate with stakeholders to develop a plan to achieve those outcomes
- Experience in managing relationships with senior stakeholders
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience working across cross functional teams in a global organization
- Experience developing the materials (e.g. guidance and templates) and training to support others in their ability to document, evaluate, and improve processes
- Experience building and managing dashboards to measure the efficacy of business processes
- A command of Google Workspaces
