VP, PGIM Head of Data Governance & Master Data Management
PGIM is seeking a VP, Head of Data Governance & Master Data Management. The successful candidate will be responsible to establish policies and standards for data governance, data quality management, master data management, data retention and lifecycle, data security and data privacy in partnership with PGIM businesses and the Enterprise Chief Data Office. This individual will manage the planning and delivery of governance using best in class data governance tool(s) and ensure governance of data according to standards to improve data trust across the ecosystem, increase access to data and improve user's understanding of the available data. This position is in Newark, NJ.

Responsibilities:
- Establish and govern an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap
- Lead a team to define and implement data quality standards, data protection standards, each with their corresponding adoption requirements
- Lead a team to define an ambitious and clear MDM vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Lead the technical team to implement the roadmap.
- Partner with key stakeholders to communicate and lead the change required for successful data governance and MDM adoption
- Serve as a data champion to ensure that data requirements for protecting sensitive data are clearly defined and adoption is prioritized.
- Drive benefit definition and track OKRs with clearly defined ROI measures
- Lead, develop and grow talent and contribute to an innovative and inclusive culture
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with large-scale data program experience
- Knowledge and demonstrated practice of master data management, data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection
- Experience implementing enterprise-wide data governance tools
- Experience in Agile Development, with product ownership experience
- Strong executive presence and written/verbal communications skills; formal presentation skills with ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs to tell a compelling story
- Ability to work effectively across the organization and influence a diverse group of stakeholders
- Ability to document detailed product concepts in the context of user needs, business impacts, and technical requirements
- Challenger mindset and passion to challenge status quo to find new solutions and drive out of the box ideas - loves and embraces change
- Believes in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, and trust across the team
- Not afraid to 'roll up the sleeves' and seeks to go outside comfort zone to learn - pushes the team to do the same
