What you will do
The Product Manager will join PGIM DC Solutions LLC (DCS) which is the retirement solutions provider of PGIM. In this role, the Product Manager will act as the Product Owner and help the DCS team bring innovative solutions to market, lead technology implementations with clients and keep abreast of the retirement plan industry to drive product development and inform the product roadmap. The ideal candidate possesses a demonstrated understanding of financial markets and products, specifically that of the Defined Contribution space, strong analytical and writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.

This position can be based in Newark, New Jersey or remote anywhere within the U.S. Occasional travel may be required as necessary.
What you can expect
- Manage the roadmap of DCS's new advice solutions. Participate in the ongoing development of advice products in the DC market.
- Manage the design and delivery of proof-of-concept initiatives and oversee implementation into scalable solutions. Manage execution and implementation with third-party vendors and clients.
- Drive visibility and alignment of product goals with the engineering and design teams, through well-written product memos, user stories, internally led presentations and discussions.
- Lead efforts from concept to release and launch, including product testing and iterative development. Help manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle - including defect and issue tracking. Work with developers, BA and QA in an agile SDLC (e.g., write user stories, participate in daily standups, etc.).
- Support product development by prioritizing bugs, acting as a subject matter expert, managing the product backlog, and planning upcoming sprints. You will be a Product Owner.
- Work effectively with the engineering team and be accountable for successful project delivery per the project objectives, scope, timeline.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across DCS and PGIM including legal/compliance, technology, design and marketing.
- Collaborate with external partners in the delivery and ongoing support of solutions to ensure alignment with client objectives and business goals.
What you will bring
- Strong knowledge of the Defined Contribution space and understanding of advice solutions.
- 5-10 years of experience within asset management.
- 5+ years of experience with agile SDLC / Scrum Process - writing stories, sprints, daily stand-ups, etc.
- Proficiency in project execution: Adept at translating conceptual requirements into actionable solutions, including API integration, user experience and system testing for advice applications.
- Excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate with technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities.
- BA/BS Degree; MBA or CFA preferred
Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $125,000 to $150,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
