What you can expect:

PGIM DC Solutions seeks to hire an experienced National Accounts representative to support the ongoing growth of its $170 billion Defined Contribution (DC) business, which spans a wide range of assets classes, target dates, advice solutions and investment vehicles. This role will be responsible for partnering with broker-dealers, recordkeepers and other retirement industry constituents to drive increased placement and utilization of PGIM solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders across PGIM investment affiliates, product management, marketing and sales teams and will leverage their retirement expertise and experience to enhance adoption of PGIM's various retirement solutions. The position will report to the Head of National Accounts for PGIM's DCS team.

This position can be worked from a home/virtual office and will require travel into our NJ home office and client locations.

What you will do:

  • Develop deep understanding of PGIM's solutions for the DC market and effectively represent these solutions to broker-dealers, recordkeepers and other key retirement market constituents.
  • Create strategic account reviews for assigned relationships to identify growth opportunities that drive increased results.
  • Engage with Research, Home Office and senior leadership contacts at assigned relationships to enhance the visibility of the PGIM brand, secure new opportunities for PGIM solutions, and increase the adoption/use of existing PGIM placements within those relationships.
  • Partner with internal investment, product, marketing and distribution teams to effectively leverage available resources to further PGIM's efforts to secure new opportunities and increase adoption/use of existing placements.
  • Share market feedback about existing PGIM capabilities and identify opportunities to enhance PGIM positioning.
  • Position PGIM thought leadership (retirement industry related, as well as capital markets focused) with assigned relationships.
  • Follow industry trends, competitive landscape and investor preferences, and identify opportunities to position PGIM capabilities as solutions fulfill needs.
  • Represent PGIM views and solutions at various industry and client-specific conferences, and other events and meetings.
  • Provide on-going client service support to assigned relationships to address and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Significant travel is required.

What you will bring:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience successfully working within the Retirement industry
  • Strong understanding of retirement industry landscape, as well as capital markets and asset allocation
  • Knowledge of and experience working with a range of retirement industry constituents such as: broker-dealers, recordkeepers, TPAs, RIAs or co-fiduciaries
  • Experience with and knowledge of multiple product structures including mutual funds, CITs, insurance separate accounts, and Managed Accounts preferred
  • Experience developing and executing sales strategy in conjunction with other distribution teams
  • Strong communicator with the ability to deliver concise, persuasive messaging to a diverse set of business partners and clients
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple client relationships and constantly evolving projects
  • Commitment to team-oriented environment, with the ability to independently take initiative to drive growth initiatives and solve client needs
  • Ability to think strategically and exercise judgement to generate solutions to complex issues.
  • Action-oriented, customer-focused, drive for results, integrity, professionalism
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Series 7, and 63 certifications will be required

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The base salary range for this role is from $115,000 to $130,000 + applicable sales commissions and/or bonuses. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
