What You Will Do

The Analyst will join the transactions and asset management team and will as

sist with both acquisition, asset management and disposition duties. We are looking for a motivated and bright individual to fulfil this position within our dynamic team. You will showcase your success through initiative, ownership, analysis, communication and teamwork.

  • Responsible for the production of detailed underwriting models to enable the assessment of potential investment opportunities, with responsibility extending to the generation of key underwriting assumptions.
  • Assist with the preparation of Investment Committee memorandums through risk analysis and in-depth understanding of investment factors.
  • Support the transaction due diligence and closing processes.
  • Involved in analysing and underwriting investment decisions for leasing, financing, buy/sell scenarios including preparation of cash flow models, sensitivity tables, property valuations, and joint venture structuring.
  • Assist with the production of periodic reports and key investment papers, including investor presentations and investment committee memorandums.
  • Assist in developing investment strategies and presentation material for capital raising initiatives.
  • Maintaining current investment models and will assist the asset manager in evaluating leasing activity, capital expenditure, and annual valuations
  • Assist with the review of key leasing documents and regular reporting to fund managers
  • Assist with various ad-hoc initiatives and projects taking place across the broader business

What You Will Bring

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience and knowledge of Australia real estate market
  • Good technical modelling skills, at the asset level but extending to fund level, including gearing fees and tax modelling
  • Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability
  • Experience with valuations, deal structuring, debt markets, etc will also be favourably viewed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English as well as strong presentation skills
  • Superior modelling, analytical and problem-solving skills with a good understanding of risk/reward relationship
  • Proactive, enthusiastic and motivated
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal parties across jurisdictions as well as market participants and investors
  • Ability to manage and progress several products/initiatives at the same time
  • Strong organizational skills are required with the ability to appropriately prioritize, multi-task, work both independently and collaboratively in a time sensitive environment where meeting established deadlines is critical
