This position will report to the VP Portfolio Manager for the Individual Annuities and Individual Life portfolios in the US Portfolio Management division of the Chief Investment Office (CIO). The Investment Associate will provide hands-on support in the management of those portfolios and will have the opportunity to expand their portfolio management skills, decision-making abilities, as well as related market and asset class knowledge.

The current Employee Work Arrangement (EWA) for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as set by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you can expect:
• Support Portfolio Managers in conducting regular ALM activities such as managing cash, liquidity, appetite, limits etc.
• Work with team to efficiently communicate activity and performance - Business Unit Asset-Liability Committee 's (ALCO):, Legal Entity ICs, income attribution, forecast process etc.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of portfolio management tools, methodologies, and Strategic Asset Allocations
• Manage the investment analysts team supporting the PM team (part of the CIO analyst program)

What you'll need:
• Minimum 4-6 years of investment experience with exposure to a mix of asset classes such as public/private fixed income, public equities, real estate
• BS/BA degree in statistics, mathematics, business, engineering, economics, computer science, finance, accounting, or similar highly quantitative subject are
• Solid understanding of Asset-Liability Management
• Possess advanced quantitative and analytical skills, with tools such as Excel/Tableau/Power BI competence
• Ability to collaborate, build partnerships and communicate across varying levels of financial knowledge.

It'd be a big plus if you had:
• Progress towards graduate degree, CFA or similar certification
• Working knowledge of Prudential's businesses and product offering

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $125,000 to $155,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
