Our Group Insurance (GI) Distribution organization delivers benefit services and solutions needed to fulfill our purpose of making lives better by solving the financial challenges of our changing world. We are looking for sales-oriented individuals to join our Distribution team as a sales professional and participate in our Sales Training Excellence Program (STEP) beginning in June 2024.

Program Overview:
Jumpstart your career in one STEP! The Prudential Sales Training Excellence Program starts with a 5-month comprehensive training program that consists of the group insurance business model, group insurance and holistic wellness products and services, insurance licensing exam support, and consultative selling skills. You will gain a deep understanding in these areas through various learning methods including hands-on coaching and 1-on-1 job shadowing with territory management.
Through STEP, you will receive continuous training and guidance from experienced sales professionals and Group Insurance business partners that will help you to develop product knowledge, effective sales and relationship building skills. You will be a part of one of the strongest, most respected group insurance companies in the nation. Responsibilities Upon Completion of the STEP Program:
- Successfully pass and maintain state insurance exam/license within six months from date of hire
- Develop and maintain relationships with insurance intermediaries/brokers
- Sell our group portfolio of products specific to life and disability programs through intermediaries/brokers to employers with 100-5000 employees.
- Create and deliver presentations to intermediaries/brokers and decision makers
- Enhance Prudential's brand in assigned territory through frequent face-to-face meetings, drive increased quote activity and ultimately, sell to new customers/ additional products to existing customers
- Customer Focused
Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of related work experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred and/or Military experience
- Willingness to relocate prior to and upon completion of the program not required but would be a plus

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The base salary for this role is $60,000 + applicable sales commissions and/or bonuses. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement
