Role Overview: The New Business, Division Leader role is an exciting new opportunity to lead a team directly responsible for driving operational success and enhancing the partnership between Annuities Service and Sales. This position will own the relationship with a specific sales division, leading a team of front-line staff to achieve key performance indicators intended to drive success across multiple sales territories.
The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis in our Newark, NJ, Minneapolis, MN, Fort Washington, PA, Jacksonville, FL, or Shelton, CT offices as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Relationship Management: Owns the relationship with a designated sales division and is the key service point of escalation for all matters related to New Business for the internal and external wholesaler community. Actively participates in sales team meetings and/or conferences and provides regular performance updates on the status of the team. Supports sales goals by fostering strong partnerships and aligning operations to meet objectives.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor front-line staff, focusing on performance management, coaching, and development to enhance their skills and improve engagement.
- Performance Accountability: Drive achievement of key performance indicators, including quality and match rates, by implementing strategies for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Innovative Problem Solving: Cultivate transformative solutions and challenge the status quo to optimize processes and achieve operational excellence. Leverage new and emerging technologies such as generative AI to introduce innovative solutions to long-standing operational challenges.
- Financial and Operational Oversight: Control expenses and maintain connectivity to results through capacity models and progress reports.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Establish strong partnerships with key stakeholders across Sales & Distribution, control functions, and other business partners to address areas of opportunity and help the department achieve its strategic goals.
- Process and Technology Expertise: Maintain expertise in technology systems supporting annuity issuance processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or significant related experience preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of management leadership experience, preferably within the Annuities or Financial Services industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change, innovate, and leverage process improvement methodologies.
- Strong leadership presence with a focus on talent development and employee engagement.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing and collaborating with senior leaders.
- Adaptability to changing business needs and dynamic environments.
- Effective analytical skills, including knowledge of staffing models and capacity planning.
- Proven ability to formulate and execute strategies to meet organizational goals.
- Strong talent management focus with experience in recruiting and training programs.
- Proactive conflict resolution skills and ability to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Some travel may be required.

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $107,300.00 to $166,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
