The Chief Investment Office ("CIO") of Prudential conducts asset and liability management and portfolio construction for all of Prudential's domestic and international business operations and manages over $365 billion in assets under management as of March 31, 2024. The Financial Management and Reporting team is a group within the CIO that provides support in a reporting, forecasting and operational capacity to the Prudential Select Strategies ("PSS") and Impact and Responsible Investing ("IRI") Alternative Asset groups.

The Financial Management and Reporting team is seeking an Associate Manager to join the team.

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you can expect:

  • Management responsibilities including training and development of one employee
  • Support completion of analysis packages for Senior Management discussions on multi-year forecasts and actuals reporting
  • Manage Internal Subsidiaries by providing cash management/review, cash flow calculations, expense review and audit oversight
  • Provide investment allocations by business for Private Equity and Real Assets
  • Review calculation of FX derivative trades and public equity sales
  • Communicate deal specific information extracted from legal docs to back-office teams
  • Provide calculation for transfers related to ongoing business specific projects
  • Collaborate with investment teams to build and maintain CRM system
  • Successfully partner and foster positive relationships with multiple groups (Investment, Legal, Tax, Accounting, Performance, Finance, Expense Reporting)
  • Provide timely responses for email communication with both internal and external partners

What you'll need:

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5-7 years of accounting / financial analysis experience
  • Understanding of Alternative Investments, Equities and Fixed Income
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel mandatory)
  • Team-oriented with strong written and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict reporting deadlines
  • Strong critical thinker with problem-solving skills

What we offer you:

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $92,400.00 to $137,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
