What you will do

The Associate Manager, Middle Office Operations is responsible for direct supervision of a key Operational support team for PGIM Fixed Income's business. This individual is responsible for increasing organizational capabilities through efficiencies and scale. Coaching, developing, and leading by example will be some of the expectations of this individual with respect to talent management.

The team is responsible for the monitoring and settlement of daily collateral activities with numerous counterparties across multiple product types. Key responsibilities will include trade booking, issue resolution, position reconciliation, and communicating with both internal and external partners such as other Operations teams, portfolio managers, and broker dealers.

The Associate Manager is expected to anticipate issues that may introduce risk, cause errors and adversely affect the performance of our clients and funds. Associate Manager will also provide support to the team in solving problems and incorporating new processes to mitigate risk.

What you can expect

• Completing daily reconciliations and validating our portfolios by investigating and resolving cash and position breaks.

• Communicating with external brokers to agree on daily futures Variation Margin and Initial Margin to be moved.

• Booking new trades once internal figures are confirmed with PGIM's brokers

• Overseeing a team of two direct reports with a concentration on key controls and process enhancements.

• Investigating cash and bond position differences with custodian banks.

What you will bring

• Degree in Economics, Finance or Business preferred

• Experience supporting fixed income products or relevant experience
