At Prudential, our Account Associates assist distribution partners (Brokerage General Agency Staff, Financial Advisors, etc.) and internal sales teams with service-related requests for new business life insurance applications, demonstrating ownership, urgency, and responsiveness in each interaction. Beyond training and job proficiency, there are ongoing opportunities to enhance personal and professional skills through collaboration with peers and leadership on process improvements, training innovation, and department projects.

This position is a hybrid role, and candidates must be located within commuting distance to our Minneapolis, MN office. Account Associates will train and perform job responsibilities in a work arrangement that includes days in the office and days working from home each week. Prudential provides parking in the ramp attached to the office at no cost.

Responsibilities:


  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a team environment
  • Manage new business cases through the new business process to ensure successful placement of the business
  • Anticipate distribution partner needs and provide creative alternatives for service requests, seeing issues through to resolution
  • Learn new software and applications used in the life insurance new business process
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay abreast of process and system updates
  • Share process improvement ideas, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and customer obsession

Qualifications:


  • 2-4 years previous customer service experience
  • Life insurance new business case management experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong interpersonal, time management and organization skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to excel independently and in a team environment

Job offer is contingent upon successful completion of pre-hire requirements

Additional Requirements:


This position will include working both in the office and at home each week.

New hires must be able to provide the following:

  • Subscribe to internet service provider plan with at least 25 Mbps download speeds. Troubleshoot issues or outages with home internet service provider.
  • Must have the capability to handle calls with a mobile phone (would need to have unlimited data and minutes) or a landline. Personal phone number information will not be viewable to customers.
  • Quiet area at home with hard-wired access to internet, minimal distractions, and free of noise
  • Reliability and dependability throughout our extensive training program is required.

The salary range for this role is from $46,200.00 to $68,900.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
