This role will provide support to eROD, PNC's account reconcilement and attestation system. The Financial Systems team plays a vital role in ensuring system health & functionality, data quality, accurate documentation, and ongoing monitoring within the reconcilement and attestation monthly production schedule through the following responsibilities:

Business Functional Support:
• Support and oversee the daily and monthly certification tool processes (such as tracking and ensuring General Ledger (GL) balance sheet accounts and Internal Demand Deposit Accounts (IDDA) account reconcilements are identified, assigned, and certified in accordance with PNC Reconcilement Standards).
• Create and present quarterly reporting to Executives to summarize exposure changes for the Corporation, increase Management's awareness of potential risk and/or possible financial loss, and identify exemptions to reserve and charge-off policies
• Work and communicate extensively with PNC Service Partners to ensure compliance with the reconcilement certification process.
• Assist and support users with business and certification tool questions.
• Serve as point of contact to help research, escalate, and resolve production issues
• Review and update departmental procedures.
• Notify the appropriate levels of Management regarding reconcilement information that is not in compliance with policy.
• Support testing with technology related to recon certification changes and updates.
• Strong data analysis skill set.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Project Work:
• Enhance Potential Future Exposure (PFE) Reporting package
• Coordinate and prioritize automation of account reconciliation jobs, reports, and processes
• Help transition the existing certification tool to a new reconcilement and certification module.
• Gather and document business requirements.
• Provide input on design and technology solution to meet business and functional requirements.
• Participate in testing to validate functionality meets business needs and requirements.
• Update reference materials and provide end user training
• Streamline and update governance around policies and procedures to strengthen PNC standards.
• Establish and update controls around reconcilement governance.

Job Description
  • Directs in the research, discovery, collection and interpretation of business requirements, and participates in the development and review of processes and procedures, workflow analytics, and reporting.
  • Provides consultation to clients on business designs, problem solving and business analysis to support project management. Develops and maintains of all applicable policy and procedure documentation.
  • Independently obtains and identifies the business requirements needed to carry out and improve applicable business processes. Provides expertise and problem-solving for clients and technology teams throughout the business analysis process.
  • Translates business needs, processes and/or procedures by partnering with applicable experts and business stakeholders to determine and articulate needs. May communicate with stakeholders and technology teams on moderately complex business requirements, provides gap analysis and facilitates future business process modeling for clients.
