This position is primarily based in a location within PNC's footprint. Responsibilities require time in the office or in a field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities can be performed remotely. Additional locations may be considered.

The Enterprise Architect Sr. on the Infrastructure Architecture Team provides strategic oversight and architectural guidance across key technology domains, including Data Center Infrastructure, Operations, and Digital Workplace. This role requires deep expertise in at least one domain, with the ability to quickly adapt and provide guidance across others.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and manage enterprise technology standards across infrastructure domains.
- Develop roadmaps for the future evolution of data center and workplace capabilities.
- Create reference architectures to standardize capability delivery for platforms.
- Partner with technology owners to align standards with vendor support lifecycles and internal use policies.
- Oversee key technology areas: Data Center Facilities, Network, Compute, Storage, Monitoring, Logging, Event Management, Voice, Collaboration, Personal Productivity, and Desktop.
- Effectively communicate and present technical recommendations to senior and executive leadership.
- Collaborate with peers, customers, and leadership, ensuring alignment across technical and business objectives.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly learn new technology domains.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of tailoring messages to technical and non-technical audiences.

- Ability to influence and drive decisions across multiple stakeholders

Job Description
  • Provides subject matter expertise for enterprise architecture, enterprise architecture teams, and clients. Guides on enterprise architecture projects and business relationship management. Creates strategic roadmaps for transitioning to target enterprise future state, in alignment with business and technology goals while analyzing client requirements and collaborating with R&D divisions to provide ongoing support.
  • Leads in the implementation of enterprise architecture strategies and best practices to support business objectives, while focusing on enterprise standards, processes, and methodologies.
  • Provides guidance to enterprise architects on defining technical service capabilities, design attributes, draft enterprise profiles and segment architecture; controls risks and solves complex issues related to enterprise architecture.
  • Maintains relationships with stakeholders, addresses stakeholder requirements and provides clients consultations to shape the future success of enterprise architecture while also mitigating risk.
  • Provides enterprise architecture support by directing teams in baseline, target and roadmap development, transition planning, system and security management and segment architecture.
