As a Business Analytics Consultant Sr within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX, or Birmingham, AL. This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager's discretion.

The following qualifications are preferred:
• Strong knowledge of developing analytical, reporting and data visualization solution using BI tools
• Expertise with database and data warehouse designs, data modelling, data performance tuning and data integration
• Hands-on experience with physical and relational data modeling
• Proven experience with ETL tools and other coding techniques to code scripts and/or stored procedures
• Experience with relational databases (Teradata/Oracle)
• Expert knowledge of writing complex SQL queries to pull and summarize large datasets, report creation and ad-hoc analyses
• Advanced knowledge of Python and Tableau (Tableau Desktop Certification a plus)
• Demonstrated ability to think beyond raw data, interpret unstructured data and understand the underlying business context and sense business opportunities hidden in data
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate and present information at varying levels of detail depending on the audience
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and influence business partners
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective under pressure

Job Responsibilities:
• Gather requirements and work with stakeholders to analyze business needs around BI reporting and dashboards
• Analyze data using tools such as Tableau, SQL and Python to develop and automate reports or analysis that leads to actionable business insights
• Comprehensive report analysis and design experience with knowledge of data warehouse/database structures and data modelling, PL/SQL
• Build intuitive interfaces, visualizations, and infographics with storytelling dashboards
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Drive innovation with stakeholders during agile development sessions to create and improve dashboards leveraging newly on-boarded data sources
• Responsible for full life cycle of BI reporting solutions, including research, design, development, testing, documentation, implementation, training, and support for report development projects

Job Description
  • Leverages complex analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and useful applications across multiple functions or business units to create data driven solutions.
  • Consulting to clients on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.
  • Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements.
  • Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solution for operations and executive management to enable data driven decision making.
  • Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.
