As a Balance Sheet Associate within PNC's Corporate Controller organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.

This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager's discretion

• Contributes to the Independent Price Verification of recurring fair value assets & liabilities, including derivatives, securities, mortgage servicing rights, and equity investments.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to review and challenge fair market value assessments on financial products & services
• Prepare and distribute fair value assessment memos, outlining portfolio-level review findings and highlighting any issues relating to valuation methodologies or outputs
• Build and maintain relationships with LoB leadership and internal stakeholders, providing strategic recommendations regarding valuations
• Contribute to the valuation of Residential Mortgage Servicing Rights, producing P&L/risk reporting and acquisition due diligence

Job Description
  • Leads financial analysis, conducts research and prepares reports. Performs due diligence and statistical analysis related to the Balance Sheet. Participates in stress testing efforts.
  • Based on own discretion, researches and collects information for PNC's Balance Sheet.
  • Reviews and presents risk analytics/stress testing material including documentation and templates to senior team members for federal submission.
  • Prepares and aggregates data for modeling activities. Reconciles and performs quality review of data.
  • Partners with lines of business in understanding specific line items of PNCs balance sheet and income statements.
