Job Description:

In this role you will focus on both the employee experience and the employee and organizational performance and effectiveness through designing, updating, and deploying practical programming and tools. Owning the Performance Management cycle, from goal setting to the annual review process, you will also collaborate with other People team partners and leadership to provide thought-leadership, design recommendations, and to ensure other bespoke components of our talent management programming and tools are maturing and evolving as our performance management practices do. You will ensure adequate collaboration, communication, success measurements, project management, and change management to lead to the adoption of performance management programming in service to accelerating employee and organizational performance.

What you'll do:

  • You will provide strategic thought-leadership direction, develop and drive the execution plan of Pluralsight's performance lifecycle.
  • You will lead and own the design, development, and execution of global organizational development solutions including strategies, framework, tools, and metrics.
  • Develop the roadmap that is aligned with short and long-term measurable business objectives that moves the organization forward for both business outcomes and culture.
  • You will have the ability to take an inside out approach by collaborating across the business and people team, synthesizing key inputs and large amounts of data to develop the strategies and implementation plans.
  • You have a keen awareness of regional nuances, sensitivities and needs across the world to deliver collaborative and effective strategies
  • Leveraging thorough knowledge of and experience with organizational development and effectiveness practice, theories and models, you are able to accurately diagnose root causes and design programs that scale and are operationally efficient.
  • Manage existing or establish new programs to reinforce strong performance and potential and support our talent development and learning initiatives, including development of programs and content to help support our leaders, managers, and employees in many aspects of leadership development, career progression, job performance and professional skills.
  • Collaborate across the people team centers of excellence to lead the performance management cycle, including goal setting, check-ins and year-end review training.
  • Performing analyses and identifying metrics to track through the performance lifecycle and outcomes
  • Able to build on existing programs such as talent reviews and succession planning as well as introducing strategies for additional programs and frameworks
  • Collaborate extensively with the people team, managers and leaders.
  • Establish and refine KPIs and talent metrics for continuous program enhancement.
  • Working closely with the engagement leads to drive retention and engagement efforts.
  • Design and implement strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness, focusing on talent management, performance metrics, workforce planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Measure and report on the impact of OE initiatives, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
  • Apply proven change management frameworks to increase adoption, minimize resistance, and accelerate readiness among team members.
  • Understands Pluralsight's core culture pillars and leads by example.Taking your knowledge of the role and the insights you gained from your kickoff - what are the top 4-5 things that this role will be doing and have ownership over

Experience you'll bring:

  • Background in full cycle human resources, organizational design, organizational development, program design, strategy & implementation.
  • Internal or external consulting experience in areas such as leadership development, capability modeling, assessments, performance management, change management, career development, and employee engagement
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of effectiveness as a people leader, team player and project leader who gets results
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to and drive results under changing conditions
  • Experience influencing and building credibility with stakeholders across all levels

Requirements:

  • Requires a minimum of 7-10 years of related or equivalent experience; or 5 + years and an advanced degree
  • Advanced degree (MA/PhD) in organizational development, industrial/organizational psychology or related field preferred

Travel Requirements:

While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $124,100 - $153,200 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
