The Vice President, Head Pfizer Patient Specialty Services will lead the implementation, operations, and oversight of US patient support programs, across the Pfizer portfolio. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest level of support to patients receiving therapies, while aligning with the company's business objectives and legal & compliance framework. The Vice-President will collaborate cross-functionally with various departments including BU patient solutions, marketing, field reimbursement, sales, regulatory, legal, compliance, digital, and clinical teams to deliver patient-centric solutions that enhance the overall patient experience.

How You Can "Outdo Yesterday"
- Lead a team of functional experts to execute a comprehensive patient services strategy aligned with the company's mission, portfolio, and US reimbursement environment.
- Assess enablement needs of Patient Services and Solutions teams (current and future) and translate brand and BU Patient experience goals to effective Patient Specialty Services offerings.
- Manage the operations of patient services teams to ensure high-quality, efficient, and compliant delivery of support services.
- Advance and optimize programs to embed sustainable and efficient PSS enablement capabilities as a support platform on behalf of the evolving needs of the BUs.
- Oversee development of innovative industry leading platforms (e.g. automation, predictive analytics and AI) that enable greater data visibility and insight generation, including capital investments in technology and required operating expenditure.
- Design and leverage leading and lagging data analytics and KPIs to continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize program performance, patient engagement and satisfaction levels, and align services with patient needs.
- Monitor emerging trends to lead portfolio-wide process improvements to enhance patient outcomes, program scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure all patient services programs and activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Oversee the management of contracting, evaluation and compliance of third-party vendors
- Collaborate with the legal and compliance teams to manage risk and maintain the integrity of patient programs.
- Establish strong relationships and effective communication with key internal stakeholders and outside vendors, sharing insights across the organization seeking continuous improvement to our programs and program offerings
- Collaborate with Digital to implement and update digital and analytics tools capabilities to enable proactive and seamless decision-making to enhance patient support services
- Lead and develop a team of +30 colleagues (incl. people managers), coaching and developing them to build capability and deliver exceptional performance.

Basic Qualifications
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of external stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
- BA or BS degree minimum required in a relevant field such as Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Advanced Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a significant portion of that time spent in leadership roles within patient services or related functions.
- Passion for improving patient outcomes and experiences, with as strong commitment to improving the lives of patients.
- Experience with design and operations of various patient service models (hybrid / in-house / out-sourced).
- Strong stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
- Proven ability to lead and transform above brand enterprise level platform functions.
- Track record of leveraging data, analytics, and AI to improve capabilities and operations
- Experience working in Pharma and Patient hub, with broad portfolio knowledge. Hands on experience in Immunology, Oncology, Rare disease and other Specialty therapeutic areas
- Track record of strategic design and execution of patient services and programs.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in relation to patient services, specialty pharmacy and US reimbursement landscape.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $239,300.00 to $398,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 30.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
