ROLE SUMMARY

The PX Lead serves as a member of the Global Business Services (GBS) Ireland leadership team and contributes to the development and successful achievement of organization priorities and goals, acts as PX (HR) functional expert providing people experiences solutions and applies this to influence the strategic direction of Enabling Functions in Ireland.

Your advanced knowledge of the PX domain and comprehensive knowledge of other disciplines will enable you to lead complex projects across the division. Your ability to develop and manage plans will facilitate in achieving objectives, interpreting internal and external business challenges, and recommending best practices for improvements. While managing complex project environments, you will be able to anticipate and troubleshoot roadblocks and influence teams to achieve targets for the division. By leveraging expertise, you will work closely with global PX Leads for decision making and project execution.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

People & Culture strategy planning & execution:

  • In alignment with business, develop and execute meaningful people plans that will deliver performance and achievement of business priorities.
  • Strong ability to partner with business to co-create and co-facilitate discussions and insight gathering to feed into programs.
  • Lead growth processes and talent management to develop strong pipeline.
  • Leading consultant to Leadership on Engagement, Diversity Equity Inclusion, Health & Wellness strategy.

Leadership coaching for impact & performance:

  • Lead the coaching of the leaders in leveraging the key people processes and managerial skills to effectively manage their team.

Leading transformation with impactful change management principles:

  • Understanding business priorities and implementing the relevant plans to transform ways of working and inspire behaviour change.
  • Support organizational changes and transformations in respect of colleagues and in compliance with the local legislation.

Business partner:

  • Provide PX Client Facing support to assigned clients.
  • Based on the individual functional site needs, lead/contribute in Initiatives/ Projects /Local Site leadership team participation.
  • Supports the execution of annual PX processes and programs (performance, compensation processes, career management), oversees in alignment with global and country practices.
  • Managing employees labour law related processes (e.g., disciplinary cases, PIPs, restructuring, court claims, etc).
  • Supports on-going review of PX processes, identifies opportunities for continuous improvement, makes recommendations and implementation, in partnership with CoE's & Pfizer Colleague Services.
  • CoE program design and implementation leadership.
  • Supports the implementation of global and local PX initiatives, ensuring - as appropriate - cross-sites alignment.
  • Liaise with local Regulatory Authorities for any discrepancy's resolution and personnel topics.

PX leadership:

  • Ensure effective partnership and alignment with relevant global & regional PX stakeholders to embrace and bring an enterprise, corporate perspective.
  • The position is responsible for the hub to assure that all local legal requirements to fulfil the legislation and the local compliance need are respected.
  • The incumbent is expected to coordinate with the other PX relevant parties in Ireland and, in close collaboration, assure that all local labour conditions are in compliance.
  • Partners closely with Global & Regional PX & COEs (Compensation, Global Benefits, Global Mobility, Org Development, Talent teams, CX, GBS etc).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree and above.
  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in PX technical proficiencies and core PX competencies with experience in coaching, employee development, organization development and driving process improvements.
  • Experience in business partnering roles.
  • Thorough knowledge of local labour laws applicable.
  • Strong leadership, integration, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong influence skill, provide strategic guidance to senior leaders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree.
  • Relevant pharmaceutical experience.
  • PX management experience in Organizational Development, Human Resource Management or related field.
  • Proven track record of successful Change Management and ability to execute initiatives in a timely manner with high quality.
  • Demonstrates business acumen, project management skills, facilitation and complex problem-solving skills, along with strong process skills.
