The Labcorp People Analytics team is looking for a master storyteller who is creative, experienced, and analytical to help us tell amazing stories with HR data. This role involves building stimulating data visualizations, crafting compelling narratives, and motivating business decisions with data. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data visualization, data analysis, and have strong stakeholder communication and stakeholder management ability.

Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Insights: Conduct both simple and advanced data analysis to uncover trends, correlations, and insights related to employee performance, engagement, retention, and other HR metrics. Provide actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Data Visualization: Design and create compelling visualizations, dashboards, and reports to effectively communicate findings and trends to stakeholders. Utilize data visualization tools to present complex data in an understandable and actionable manner.
- Data Wrangling: Extract raw data from multiple HR data sources and combine them into usable data for analytics and deriving insights.
- Data Storytelling: Translate complex data analyses into compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, including executives, HR partners, and business leaders. Use storytelling techniques to influence decision-making and drive organizational change initiatives.
- Design: Create and compile data stories into compelling data packages with appealing aesthetics using basic design principles.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, Finance, and Operations, to align analytics efforts with organizational goals and priorities. Provide leadership and guidance to junior analysts and team members, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, IT, Data Science, or related field and 4+ years working in a People Analytics Team. -OR- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, IT, Data Science, or related field and 7+ years working in a People Analytics Team.
- Demonstrated track record or portfolio of data visualization packages or stories that can be shown to hiring team
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools and data visualization platforms.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Powerpoint or other Slideshow software / applications.
- Strong understanding of HR metrics and analytics methodologies, including predictive modeling and statistical analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex findings into clear and actionable insights using Slideshow software / applications.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving business outcomes through data-driven HR initiatives.
Pay Range: $125,000 - $140,000
All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
Pay Range: $125,000-$140,000
The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers.
Hours 8am to 5pm EST or CST
