What You Will Achieve

Working with Pfizer's dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical role in developing and modifying process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards. Your production engineering skills will help in recommending and implementing improvements, modifications or additions that will help in solving problems. You will review product requirements in terms of product development compatibility and help Pfizer determine optimum costs and schedules of production.

As a Manager, your breadth of knowledge on internal or external business challenges will help us improve our products, processes and services. How You Will Achieve It

  • Manage multiple projects and ongoing work activities in the department typically involving cross-functional representatives.
  • Follow-up with the tasks performed by the leads, project engineers and technicians, and ensure all timelines meet production schedules.
  • Organize, oversee and analyze testing associated with the development of new process technologies and the support of new product introductions and technology transfers.
  • Identify corrective and preventative actions, and lead the Lesson Learned sessions after project completion.
  • Work closely with all relevant stakeholders and teams (internal and external) to approve and implement new and revised components ensuring all packaging meets Pfizer's requirements, Food and Drug Administration and other regulatory requirements.
  • Capture, develop and disseminate information and expertise through knowledge management.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in the Biopharmaceutical industry and Current Good Manufacturing Practices {part of GxP} environment
  • Project management skills to effectively manage the facilitation of multiple labeling projects against shifting priorities
  • Prior Automated Visual Inspection experience including inspection recipe development.
  • Strong people management experience
  • Leadership skills and effective communication

Nice-to-Have

  • Master's degree
  • Relevant pharmaceutical experience

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Job requires applicant to work in controlled areas with specialized gowning for hours at a time.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

The normal work hours are 8-5m, Monday through Friday. However overtime or weekend work may be needed to meet project schedules.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $93,500.00 to $155,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
