Warehouse Lead
Responsibilities
- Working with our Product development, engineering, and science teams on storing, receiving, testing, and shipping.
- Overseeing all Warehouse responsibilities, receiving, shipping, storing goods, picking orders, packing orders, and maintaining inventory.
- Receiving and storing goods Unloading stock from delivery vehicles, storing goods in designated warehouse locations, and taking inventory of materials received.
- Picking and packing orders from the warehouse freezer and raw ingredients room. Loading and securing goods to pallets, moving inventory to delivery areas, and preparing orders for shipment or transfers.
- Inspecting products for defects and damages
- Keeping records of damages/destroys
- Organizing the warehouse space
- Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments
- Operating warehouse machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Ensuring the warehouse environment remains clean, tidy, and safe
- Following health and safety guidelines
- Communicating with colleagues, managers, customers, clients, and transportation providers

Maintaining inventory
- Utilizing our inventory management to ensure no discrepancies in stock levels and finished goods
Conducting regular inventory audits - Reporting stock issues or discrepancies to management
- Instructing staff to conduct stock takes or inventory reviews
- Communicating with colleagues, managers, customers, clients, and transportation providers
Quality control duties
- Inspecting incoming goods: Check shipments for material failures before they enter the warehouse
- Verifying quantity: Make sure the number of products matches the order
- Maintaining temperature and humidity: Keep perishable goods at the right temperature and humidity
- Quality checking incoming and outgoing products: Ensure that products meet quality standards before they are shipped
- Generating inspection reports: Create reports that document findings and may include recommendations for improvement
- Reviewing findings: Use data to improve quality control processes
- Ensure that products meet customer and company standards and specifications
- Limit errors such as wrong orders or defective products
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Continuously improve quality control processes
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $45,000 - $71,800.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse with 5 + management in warehousing
- Knowledge of inventory management and shipping and receiving processes
- Ability to work quickly and accurately
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Safety consciousness and compliance with established protocols and regulations
- Physical stamina: Need to lift heavy bags at times (50lbs).
- Organizational skills: Warehouse workers need to be able to organize and retrieve stock.
- Computer proficiency: Warehouse workers may need to use computers and Inventory management system to maintain records and process orders.
- Communication skills: Need to be able to communicate well to work in a team and support our external teams.
- Forklift certification is required for this role
