MISSION
• Manage the proper setup , usage of the warehouse.
• Applies strict warehouse working instructions and fixed operating procedures.
• Executes complex and critical warehouse working instructions according to defined operating procedures.

• Is capable of taking any operations job in the warehouse including training of new warehouse operators
• Responsible for the safety, ergonomic, and 5S behavior within the sector.
• Support follow-up ,receipt , transportation of materials when needed.
• Ensure the production safety
o Enhance 5S management onsite, in warehouse , be responsible to ensure the safety, I See I Do.
o Ensure proper identification , tracking and storage of materials.
• Warehouse management
o Setup and manage the warehouse for MDC India. Ensure Safety standards are implemented and practiced.
o Setup clear management to ensure to follow FIFO , Manage the right level of inventory for standard parts balancing cost and lead time
o Report periodically , the inventory levels and escalate any concerns to MDC India Head.
o Understands KPIs and their relationship to daily warehouse activities
o Clear understanding of ERP system and update to be done.
o Inbound / outbound material movement management
o Manage logistics manpower 1or 2 people
• Material Replenishment
o Understands the notions and vocabulary of replenishment and parameters setting:
o - MRP / KANBAN / ROP / Rescheduling / Order Fulfillment / Forecasting / Bullwhip Effect
• Continuous Improvement
o Conduct periodic stock taking audits and account for materials
o Look out for benchmark with other warehouse setup in Schneider Plants and implement the same.
• Logistics
o Understands the basic fundamentals of transportation and optimal mode selection
o Performs general cost analysis to evaluate various transport plan
Qualifications
Education :
NTTF / Diploma in mechanical / electrical / Electronics with 2-4 years exp.
Job Related Experience:
2-4 years in Warehouse / Logistics / Procurement function
Experience with ERP systems.
Experience in machine building is a plus.
Business Understanding :
SPS
Inventory and warehouse management
Knowledge on common materials ,services needed for Machine development
Manage / Balance budget to meet the committed Quality , Cost , Delivery
Others (e.g. language skills, technical skills) :
Good English level & Windows environment
Good Communication skills
