PepsiCo Ventures Group's role is to manage the strategic corporate venture capital program of PepsiCo. PepsiCo Ventures Group's mission is to invest globally in early stage and high-growth companies, to educate the PepsiCo organization on the evolving consumer needs, expanding business models, emerging technologies, and to accelerate the development of the portfolio companies.
PepsiCo Ventures Group aims are to be a leading value-adding strategic investor in the global consumer venture capital community.
We are currently seeking an experienced and driven individual to join our Ventures Group team.
Responsibilities
Accountabilities:
- Being a representative for the PepsiCo Ventures Group
Portfolio Monitoring:
- Lead monitoring of operational and financial performance of portfolio companies, maintaining a comprehensive database of financial statements and related data.
Investment Execution:
- Coordinate due diligence efforts across various domains, including technical, business, and legal diligence, working closely with external vendors and internal corporate functions such as Control, Tax, Treasury, and Legal
- Support the development of investment memos by coordinating input from Corporate partners, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
- Coordinate the funding of approved investments in collaboration with Corporate Treasury, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
Scouting:
- Assist in Group scouting activities by analyzing syndicated data to assess potential investment opportunities
Operations:
- Manage the execution and tracking of purchase orders for the Group, ensuring smooth operational flow.
- Support the coordination of event spaces and scheduling for activities related to Accelerator Programs, facilitating seamless event execution
- Maintain and update the Investment database, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Organize and manage shared drives, maintaining a structured and efficient digital workspace
- Maintain an external mindset, including staying on top of consumer and competitive trends
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and communication.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $85,200 - $142,650.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.Your recruiter can share more about the specificsalary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- 6-8 years of work experience in a variety of positions including experience in at least one of the following roles: Consumer Insights, Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Venture Capital, Private Equity, Corporate Venture Capital, or Consumer Goods Business Development
- Prefer MBA
- Eagerness to learn and actively engage in deal processes, with the ability to manage and coordinate multi-work stream projects effectively
- Proven strong project management skills
- Superior financial modeling skills and acumen, strong financial reporting skills
- Proficient in utilizing syndicated CPG data platforms such as Circana, Nielsen, and SPINS, with a demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data to drive strategic insights
- Willingness to establish contacts through networking in consumer goods, health/wellness, consumer tech, and/or venture capital industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including preparation of investment memos and analysis.
