Overview
Food for Good is a partnership between PepsiCo, local food distributors, local nonprofit organizations and the government to deliver healthy meals to children who depend on receiving breakfast and lunch at school. The success of this program depends on our field staff who lead the daily operations. The Delivery and Production lead leads all of Food for Good's delivery operations, daily packing, and warehouse operations including maintenance and safety. As a leader of the Foundation's signature nutrition operation, the FFG Delivery Supervisor works collaboratively with local nonprofit partners to deliver on the Foundation's nutrition priorities in the US

Primary objectives of this role are to:
- Create forecast for raw materials on a weekly basis
- Ensure accurate inventory management practices are in place
- Ensure accuracy in packing of orders
- Manage frontline to team to pack all orders in timely fashion
- Manage food safety and sanitation parameters in the warehouse
- Understand compliance measures for programs and ensure team is following them
- Creates menu for sponsors
- Lead delivery team in a professional way, ensuring professional appearance, language and behaviors (PepsiCo code of conduct)
- Understand process for contractor labor management and ensure we are complying-inclusive of accident investigation process
- Ensure accuracy between systematic order and physical order being delivered
- Report packing daily numbers, stories, and issues to the operations supervisor
- Manage waste to minimal levels and lead correction of processes when we are off target
- Help ensure equipment is working well and report outages to supervisor
- Supervise the delivery staff to ensure accurate, on-time daily deliveries of fresh meals to community locations
- Deliver operational efficiencies including routing and daily meals per route metrics
- Ensure accurate packing and safe loading of trucks
- Lead the daily interaction with nonprofit partners including customer service and orders
- Interview and hire delivery staff for full time employees
- Work with temp agency for sourcing contractor staff when needed
- Ensure delivery staff are following all policies and procedures
- Report delivery daily numbers, stories, and issues to the operations supervisor
- Ensure optimal customer service levels are being provided to internal and external customers
- Lead delivery team in a professional way, ensuring professional appearance, language and behaviors (PepsiCo code of conduct)
- Lead safety agenda with frontline inclusive of Geotab parameters and accident investigation support
- Ensure effective management of fleet operations-maintenance of vehicles, fuel cards, and keys.
- Provide consistent coaching to driver team-route rides
- Support team with management of PepsiCo owned devices-phones, etc.
- Maintain confirmation of receipt (photos taken by drivers) daily and store historical information in case of audit
Role Responsibilities:
The FFG Delivery & Production Lead will lead everything related to FFG's day-to-day overall operations in the designated city/territory, including:
- Daily supervision of delivery drivers
- Manage city fleet to include all safety and registration needs
- Be the safety lead for the location and ensure all safety compliance needs are met.
- Supervise all of Food for Good's daily operations in the designated region
- Support the Production Supervisor and warehouse/packing team
- Be the key contact point for customers
- Manage production equipment to include all safety and registration needs

Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $45,000 - $67,000
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process

Additional Preferences:
- Foodservice facility management experience
- Warehouse operations experience
- Experience managing a large frontline staff
