Overview
The R&D senior manager position will lead a group of seasoning developers on key AOP innovation, brand stewardship and PEP+ transformation agenda on PFNA core snacks reporting to PFNA Seasoning & Flavor Director. This role provides both individual leadership and people management opportunity responsible for delivering PFNA regional innovation and productivity targets, strategic brand stewardship, developing and executing technology roadmaps and unlocks to drive key portfolio transformation towards PEP+ goal for core snacks portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Develop, scale-up and flawless execution of 52 wk flavor innovations, national & customer LTOs to hit PFNA AOP targets.
- Lead strategic brand stewardship projects to enable business continuity and capacity gain.
- Work effectively with cross functional partners and PD teams in developing strong innovation pipeline.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationship to enable open-dialogs, great innovation, quality, cost certainty and forward-thinking partnerships.
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps to deliver key portfolio transformation towards PEP+ goal.
- Actively partnering with function/platform to identify technology roadmaps and unlocks to deliver portfolio transformation across H2/H3.
- Translate business objectives into strategic and tactical project goals and objectives for team.
- Lead and develop a group of seasoning developers to strengthen our organization, workforce and talent pipeline.

Compensation & Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $114,700 - $192,100.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
- BS Food Science, Engineering, Food Process Engineering and/or MS/Higher
- 8+ years experience in R&D or manufacturing/production environment in the foods, seasoning, ingredients or CPG industry
- Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into strategic and tactical project goals and objectives
- Proven ability to make significant technical scientific advances utilizing internal and/or external resources
- Demonstrated understanding of how to incorporate business needs into technical decisions
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments/ tasks
- Good people management skills
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years seasoning & flavor development experience
