Overview

PepsiCo is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of People and Engagement Communications to join our team. This role will lead the development and execution of communications for employee engagement strategies and initiatives. This role will lead and shape the narrative around our Inclusion for Growth strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of engagement, advancement, belonging and inclusion across PepsiCo.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive inclusion and engagement communications strategies aligned with PepsiCo's overall organizational and People function goals
  • Design and execute effective communications to keep employees informed and engaged specific to milestone programs including talent management initiatives, reward and recognition programming and talent acquisition campaigns.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to promote inclusion and engagement initiatives and ensure they are integrated into PepsiCo's culture and business practices.
  • Drive storytelling: Curate and share stories across the company, highlighting employee experiences, key initiatives and programs that contribute to a culture of inclusion.
  • Serve as a communications subject matter expert on inclusion and engagement trends, best practices, and policies.
  • Gather and partner with data team to analyze inclusion and engagement communications data and metrics
  • Provide function insights to support annual planning and strategy inputs tied to Inclusion for Growth agenda
  • Bring best practices on assessment and planning specific to inclusion programming; assess progress and identify areas for improvement and risk assessment.
  • Manage crisis communication efforts and provide guidance on sensitive employee relations matters.
  • Work with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to support their initiatives and amplify their voices.
  • Partner to identify and craft content for internal communications, including newsletters, emails, intranet updates, and presentations.
  • Partner to review and craft messaging for internal events tied to People and Inclusion for Growth strategies
  • Coordinate and promote employee engagement initiatives and events.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $118,700 - $198,800.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
  • In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health, and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field.
  • 10+ years communications experience with proven success managing high-profile internal and change communications projects, CPG or tech industry experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of inclusion and engagement principles, practices, and legal requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • World-class communications skills, with the ability to translate messages to all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with HR programming tied to inclusion, talent management, talent acquisition and employer reputation
  • Deep understanding of inclusion and belonging principles, trends and challenges across industries.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks related to inclusion and belonging.
  • Ability to work, network, communicate and motivate effectively at all levels within the organization.
  • Passion for training, engaging and sharing learnings, best practices and insights to support all global and market teammates.
  • Highly responsive, flexible and agile thinker, with great negotiation and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a highly decentralized environment with local, global and remote teams, while able to draw items to closure.
  • Creative thinker who's not afraid to bring new ideas to the table.
  • Able to learn complex subjects and distill them into messages that resonate with internal audiences.
  • Motivated self-starter with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and make decisions independently.
  • Experience in managing agency resources and budgets.
  • Willing to travel occasionally.
